Tokyo Yōkai Walking (Temples & Shrines Trip) in Ome!
We will visit Ome(青梅) area!
Ome area is very famous for Japanese apricots, Temples and Shrines which are related to legend of Yōkai (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Y%C5%8Dkai)! Yōkai (ghost, phantom, strange apparition) are a class of supernatural monsters and spirits in Japanese folklore.
Actually this spot is the stage of Yuki-onna (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuki-onna) (雪女) in the book 'Kwaidan (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kwaidan:_Stories_and_Studies_of_Strange_Things)' that features several Japanese ghost stories written by Lafcadio Hearn (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lafcadio_Hearn) (Koizumi Yakumo | 小泉八雲).

【Walking Course】
In Ome, there are many temples and shrines. We will visit 9 spots of them, and collect series of stamps which are related to legend of Yōkai!!
Finally, we will visit 'Showa Retro Packaging Museum'! :-)
- Baiganji Temple（梅岩寺）
↓ - Kongoji Temple（金剛寺）
↓ - Seihouin Temple（清宝院）
Seihouin is known to enshrine one of the Ome-Tama Shichifukujin, or Seven Gods of Fortune. The temple is dedicated to Ebisu, the god of commerce, fishing and agriculture.
↓ - Jouhouji Temple（常保寺）
↓ - Enmeiji Temple（延命寺）
Enmeiji is known to enshrine one of the Ome-Tama Shichifukujin, or Seven Gods of Fortune. The temple is dedicated to Daikoku-ten, the god of commerce and child rearing.
↓ - Soukenji Temple（宗建寺）
Soukenji is known to enshrine one of the Ome-Tama Shichifukujin, or Seven Gods of Fortune. The temple is dedicated to Bishamon-ten, the god of wisdom and courage.
↓ - Joganji Temple（乗願寺）
↓ - Sumiyoshi Shrine（住吉神社）
↓ - Showa Retro Packaging Museum（昭和レトロ商品博物館）
It displays objects like snack wrappers, soft drink cans and bottles, and medicine packages from the Showa period.

※I'll bring a meetup board! It takes about 1 hour from Shinjuku Station to Ome station by Chuo-Line.

東京さんぽ（妖怪スタンプラリー編） in 青梅
世界的に有名な小泉八雲の「雪おんな」のモデルとなった街、青梅。雪おんなだけでなく、様々な妖怪伝説があるともいわれています!!
今回の「東京さんぽ」は、そんな青梅の妖怪伝説にまつわるお寺や神社、博物館を巡る妖怪スタンプラリーです♪
すべてのスタンプを集めると、妖怪伝説の地図「青梅宿妖怪伝説絵図」がもらえる・・・かも!?
