Every month, we gather some smart speakers and a curious crowd, add a bar, and create something unique. This month, we’re in Sugamo to talk about computer vision and narrating a Moon landing! As always, we will have cafe food and craft beer on tap.

First, researcher **Guillaume Pelat** will discuss computer vision: how a neural network processes an image, and more importantly, how we can understand the decisions it makes. Then, Nerd Nite’s most prolific speaker, astrophysicist and JAXA science communicator **Elizabeth Tasker**, returns to give us the behind-the-scenes account of the first Japanese Moon landing — the landing she provided the official live English commentary for!
