Ever wanted to try a cue sport but not sure where to start? Snooker is a classic table game that combines skill, strategy, and satisfying shots — played on a large green table with coloured balls and a cue stick. Think of it as a fun mix of pool and chess, where every shot counts.

Join us for a relaxed, beginner-friendly Social Snooker Night where the goal is simple: everyone gets plenty of table time, meets new people, and enjoys some casual fun. Whether you’re brand new to snooker or already play regularly, this meetup is all about short games, friendly rotations, and a welcoming atmosphere. No pressure, no experience needed — just come along and enjoy the game.

Standard Rules

Rotation King of the Table
Best for 4–6 people
Play short games (5 mins each or first to X points, 30 sec shot clock)
Winner stays on for one more game.
Challenger rotates in.
After two wins, winner goes to back of queue

Alternate shots or take turns normally

Score more points than your opponent by potting balls in the correct order

Ball Values

Red balls = 1 point each
Yellow = 2
Green = 3
Brown = 4
Blue = 5
Pink = 6
Black = 7

Game Flow

• Break off to start
  *First, pot a red
• After potting a red, nominate/play a colour
  *After potting a colour, it goes back on its spot (until all reds are gone)
• Then aim for another red
  *Repeat red → colour until all reds are gone
• Once reds are finished, pot colours in order
  *Yellow → Green → Brown → Blue → Pink → Blac
