Hacker spaces are community-operated physical places, where people can meet and work on their projects. Tokyo HackerSpace is an open community lab, studio, workbench, sewing circle, machine shop+, where people with common interests in technology, building things, gardening, cooking, science, sewing, digital art, gaming+, can find the space, the like-minded people, and the infrastructure needed for these activities. They are not just project studios, but places where people can get together and make interesting projects, cook, hang out, have barbecues, and watch anime. The Tokyo HackerSpace initiative was created from discussions at TokyoBarCamp 2009. It's a collective made up of programmers, engineers, IT administrators, artists, chefs, musicians, and people interested in geek culture.
The goal of the group is to converge technology, arts, crafts, and music. If you are interested then please join the mailing list and discord.
MEMBERSHIP to Tokyo HackerSpace - our rent is dependent mostly on member dues. If you pay a monthly 7000 yen, you get discounts on classes, access to the space and its tools 24/7, and warm fuzzies for helping out our space.

Tokyo Hackerspaceは、技術、ものづくり、園芸、料理、科学、裁縫、デジタルアート、ゲームなどの共通の興味を持つ人々が、これらの活動に必要な空間、同じ志を持つ仲間、そして設備を見つけることができるオープンなコミュニティラボ、スタジオ、作業台、裁縫サークル、工作室などです。
ここは単なるプロジェクト制作の場ではなく、人々が集まって面白いプロジェクトを作ったり、料理をしたり、くつろいだり、バーベキューをしたり、アニメを見たりすることができる場所です。
Tokyo Hackerspaceの取り組みは、2009年のTokyoBarCampでの議論から生まれました。これはプログラマー、エンジニア、IT管理者、アーティスト、シェフ、ミュージシャン、そしてギーク文化に興味のある人々で構成される集団です。
このグループの目標は、テクノロジー、アート、クラフト、音楽を融合させることです。興味がある方はメーリングリストやDiscordにご参加ください。
