Hanami/Cherry Blossom/Sakura - call it as you wish - ushers in spring in Japan and with it picnic season 🌸 🙌 🌸

This year hanami season is arriving earlier than usual blossoming on March 16th and peaking on the 24th

We'll be celebrating this wonderful time of the year by having a fun, friendly & healthy picnic experience under the many sakura trees in popular Yoyogi Park 🌸 🌸 🌸

Yoyogi Park is one of Tokyo's most popular picnic spots. It's known for it's vast open space, countless trees, friendliness & great Japanese/ international vibe 🌸 🌳 🥳 🌳 🌸

We'll be bringing picnic sheets for everyone so it's not necessary to bring
any

Our picnic spot will be by the big pond. It'll be mostly shaded but for the sun worshippers there'll be a picnic sheet in the sun too 🌸 🌞 🌸

Breakdown of the event :

2pm - 2:15pm : Meeting time. Between JR Harajuku Station (East Exit) and Meijijingu-Mae Station (Exit 2). These two exits are near each other

Look for the Meetup signs (**ask for Johnna)

Going directly ANYTIME from 2:30pm works too 🤗

2:30pm - 4:30pm : Enjoy eating, drinking, talking, making friends ..... under the sakura trees. Anything you're in the mood to do 🥳

Please bring some food &/or drink if you'd like as the nearest convenience store is about a 10 minute walk from our picnic spot.

Joining fee :

Ladies : Free

Gents : ¥700.

Please note : No reservation? Joining fee + ¥500.

Who's this event for? Any sakura, outdoor, picnic, friend making, Yoyogi Park & fun loving individuals.

この1年中で最も素晴らしい時を祝って、代々木公園のたくさんの桜の下で、楽しく、フレンドリーに、ヘルシーなお花見を体験しましょう 🌸 🌸 🌸

代々木公園は、都内でも有数のピクニックが楽しめる公園です。広大なスペース、たくさんの緑、フレンドリーで楽しい国際交流の場です 🌸 🌳 🥳 🌳 🌸

ピクニックシートは準備していますので、お持ちいただかなくても大丈夫です。
私たちのピクニックする場所は大きな池のほとりです

少し木陰になった場所と、日光浴が好きな方用に日向にピクニックシートを敷く予定です 🌸 🌞 🌸

当日のスケジュール :

14:00 - 14:15 : 集合時間。山手線 原宿駅(東口)と 東京メトロ 明治神宮前駅(2番出口)の間で、お待ちしています。両出口は隣り合わせです

14:30以降にお花見スペースへ直接いらっしゃっても構いませんが、代々木公園内は混雑が予想されますので、駅での合流をお勧めします

駅も混雑が予想されますが、公園内よりも簡単に見つけることができると思います。
