Tokyo Python is hosting Jarek Potiuk, longtime PMC member of Apache Airflow and PMC chair of the new Apache Magpie project, along with Tokyo Python member and Airflow contributor Wei Lee.

AI is changing open source. Maintainers are seeing more pull requests, bug reports, and security reports, but they still have the same number of volunteer hours. Apache Magpie is an open-source library of reusable agent skills that helps maintainers triage issues, review PRs, handle security reports, verify releases, and onboard new contributors. Jarek will share how it works and how Airflow uses it today.

You don’t need to use Airflow to enjoy this one. If you maintain, contribute to, or depend on open source, this session is for you.
