The HandleBar bicycle bar 2 hour downtown tour

Let's take a two hour tour of downtown Toledo on a HandleBar bicycle bar, Toledo's original 16 seat pedal-powered bar bike. There are now 4 of the HandleBar bikes to keep up with a growing business. You'll want to bring your own beverages and snacks as none are sold on the bike. Per city ordinance, riders may bring 36 ounces of beer/seltzer on the bike or 18 ounces of wine. Glass containers are prohibited. Before the tour begins, you will be required to sign an e-waiver, show the email confirmation, and present your ID. Please have the email confirmation and your ID ready so that we can start on time.

The tour begins and ends at 320 N. Ontario. Our tour begins at 8 pm. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Please meet me there at 7:15. I've not done this before, so I don't know how long it takes to get 16 people on the bike and ready. I will be wearing red or have a red balloon. Make sure you have enough time to park and walk to the event. Parking options are provided in the FAQ.

The HandleBar bicycle bar will make 2-4 stops at bars during our tour. You can purchase anything at the bar and bring it back to the HandleBar provided you get it in a DORA cup. There will likely be drink specials for the riders. If you want to stop at a certain bar, put in your request with the driver. The tour route is through the Warehouse District, Uptown/Adams St., and the Summit Street area. The bars in those areas are listed in the FAQ on the website.

Book your seat as soon as possible on the Public Individual Seat tour. They sell out. Booking a seat is a little different than we're used to, but please don't get discouraged. I will get you through it. There's a good chance that the website will say that there are no available seats at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13th. Contact me, and I will give you a link that opens up the booking for that day. Then signing up will be easy. Signing up with the Baby Boomers will end in one week on Sunday, May 18, 2025.

There is no limit to the number of members or guests that can attend this event. The limit is reached when the date is fully booked. I was too late last year to get us a booking, so I'm pumped this year.
