Details
Dates: Fridays – Feb 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th
Time: 4:30 PM
Location: Radiant Healing Arts Center
Support your metabolism naturally through mindful movement, breath, and body awareness.
This month’s Qigong focus is metabolic health—supporting circulation, digestion, stress regulation, and overall cellular function. Qigong is a gentle yet powerful practice that works with the whole body, helping create the internal conditions needed for efficient energy use, healthy digestion, and sustainable weight management.
These are practice-based classes, designed to build week to week. The first class of the month includes time for discussion and education around the month’s focus, with the remaining classes emphasizing embodied practice, refinement, and integration.
How Qigong Supports Metabolism
• Improves blood flow & circulation to support metabolic processes
• Reduces stress and helps regulate stress hormones
• Emphasizes abdominal movement to aid digestion
• Uses intentional breathing to enhance cellular function
• Twisting and whole-body movements gently increase energy expenditure
Each class includes:
• Hatha Yoga warm-up to prepare joints, spine, and muscles
• Qigong forms focused on metabolic support
• Breathwork & visualization
• Time for questions, feedback, and integration
