Qigong for Heath: Heart and Small Intestine Meridians
Details
The Heart meridian in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) embodies the qualities of the fire element and is a vital energy pathway that is crucial for maintaining physical and emotional health. It plays a central role in governing the blood and vessels, regulating emotions, and housing the Shen, which represents consciousness, emotions, and mental activities.
Understanding and supporting the Heart meridian is essential for promoting overall well-being in TCM. A balanced Heart meridian promotes clarity of thought, sound sleep, and emotional stability.
Joy is the primary emotion linked to the Fire element and the Heart. However, an imbalance in this element and meridian can lead to emotional instability, anxiety, depression, or insomnia.
