Kayak Antietam Creek (Class 1 easy) and picnic (BYODrinks & picnic lunch) $45

Details
What a wonderful way to spend a hot summer day! Floating kayaks downstream in the cool creek waters of the tree-canopied Antietam Creek! Observe the local wildlife along the way and take pictures. Don't even need sunscreen as the trees offer shade. This is an easy kayak only Class 1 meaning there is very little white water and it's not very deep. People who have never kayaked before did it and had a great time. All you really have to do is steer!
11:30-12:30 pm picnic lunch in Devil's Backbone park
12:30-1 pm gear up and sign waivers
1-5 pm kayaking down creek (if we have time, we can walk around and look at the historical Civil war stuff at Burnside bridge at the end of our trip while we wait for him to pick us up)
Drive back ~15 mins (he takes us and the kayaks back)
RAIN CHECK Sunday June 29 or the following weekend (Aug 5 we'll discuss it).
Price Includes kayak Rental/life vest&Guide(me) & RT transportation (them):
BYOBeer/Wine/Soda/Tea/etc. for the picnic and the creek trip (also bring something to munch on for the trip like trail mix). Bring waterproof seal for phone etc. and small cooler for beer etc. Not much can fit in the kayak besides you!
What to wear: comfortable swimsuit/shorts, t-shirt, hat, sunglasses, old sneakers or water-worthy shoes (DO NOT WEAR FLIP FLOPS or sandals!) possibly wear sunscreen for very sensitive skin because there are trees to cover us most of the time.
ALL ABOARD, MATES!
