Pretty Day Away in West Virginia (Lunch@Bavarian INN&Beer, Wine&Music, etc.)

I have to start charging for special events as MeetUp raised annual fees to $500!

Attendence is limited so people who do not pay $5 via Venmo to @ DIANNEE-GODAR will be removed.

Itinerary (subject to change as we will vote on things as we go)
11:30-1:30 pm - Lunch at the Bavarian Inn. Meet and greet and talk up a storm. We'll meet inside in the lobby area at 11:15 am and we'll be seated at 11:30. If you are late, ask for Dianne's reservation. Please be on time or early. There's plenty of parking at the Bavarian Inn and they now have their own microbrewery! We will sit inside if it is hot or outside if it is not.

1:30-3 pm - Drive down the road to stop for ice cream in Sharpsburg, then drive through the Antietam Battlefield in Sharpsburg, MD, then drive to the Winery (everything is about 10 miles total driving)

3-5 pm - Wine tasting and live outdoor music band (you can dance if you want to!) @ Antietam Creek Winery
Music will be playing from 2:00-5:00pm. Winery is open from 12-6 pm.

5:30-7 pm Dinner at the gourmet Press Room in Shepherdstown (optional but let me know if you want to go as I have to make a reservation)

Your choice. You can drive home, or you can spend the night in a local motel, the Bavarian Inn, or a bed & Breakfast or camp out across the river at the Antietam campground about 3 miles from Shepherdstown (cost about $15/night). I might be staying in an inexpensive motel in Kearneysville about 10 miles down the road.
