**Board Game Night (Beginner Friendly, Social & Structured)** Meet new people at our host led boardgame night, sit down, learn a game, and start playing within minutes. **Who this is for** - People who work a 9–5 and want to meet people after work or on the weekends doing something fun. - You want something social and structured - You want attend a host guided boardgame night. **The Event** This is a hosted board game night. You don’t need to know any games. We teach everything. provide name tags, and games. Most people are new and come alone. **Small groups (limited spots)** Tables of 4–8 people Usually 30 total spots If you see a spot you can make, take it. They fill. **What happens when you arrive** You don’t need to bring anything You’ll be seated shortly after you arrive A host will guide your table You won’t be left standing around. **Types of games** We run two kinds of games: *1) Social games 🟦* Easy to learn Good for conversation Great for bigger groups *2) Intermediate games 🟥* Strategy games that take at least 1 hour. Join us for a relaxed street art walk through Melbourne's CBD, exploring laneways, murals, and hidden creative spots while enjoying easy, natural conversation along the way. If you love photography, bring your camera or smart phone (charged) to snap some fun photos along the way. We often pose in front of our fave artworks. Be prepared to be silly with me 🤪… (optional of course) This event is about moving at a comfortable pace, noticing what’s around us, and letting conversation unfold organically as we walk. There’s no need for art knowledge - curiosity is more than enough. The walk has a **light structure to help things flow**, but nothing rigid. You’re welcome to chat as much or as little as you like and enjoy the experience in your own way. After the walk, there will be the option to stay on for dinner nearby for anyone who’d like to continue the conversation (completely optional). This event is best suited to adults **approx. 25–50 who are young-at-heart** and enjoy exploring the city, being outdoors, and connecting through shared experiences. This match is strictly for 18 years and older players at the Advanced level. Please register to play so everyone knows the approximate numbers. Please arrive on time to lend a hand in setting up the goals. If you arrive late, you may need to wait to substitute in or create a new game with others using available cones. Please have the courtesy to de-register if you are unable to attend at all. Please wear a black or white top, or bring both. It is up to you to manage your own risk of injury, as this is social and free. We recommend shin guards and do NOT condone sliding tackles and over-aggressiveness. If you have a size 5 soccer ball, then please bring it along. Pump it up to 8 psi beforehand or ask around for a pump. Please place your possessions in a safe place while the game is running. Our intro to D&D (Dungeons and Dragons 5.5 edition) is back! This will be a very intro session where you will learn to make your first character and do a little role playing. I've rewritten the curriculum so you won't need the official 380 page player's handbook you just need to show up and we will provide everything. We'll aim for 3 hours but things could take a little longer. Tickets are $20 per player.
