Unser Verein berlinCreators e.V. trifft sich jeden Freitag ab 18 Uhr im Makerspace. Wir haben Gruppen rund um Elektronik, 3D-Druck, Nähen, Programmieren, Retro Computer. Egal ob Anfänger oder Profi – hier seid Ihr Willkommen. Ihr könnt mit anderen fachsimpeln, Euch inspirieren lassen oder auch mit unserer Hilfe Eure ersten Projekte starten. ## **What Does Equality Look Like?** *A Women’s Circle & Watercolour Workshop* In this intimate two-hour women’s circle, we will gather to create, reflect, and connect through watercolour painting inspired by vintage feminist posters and historic movements such as the Women's March and International Women's Day. We’ll begin by exploring powerful imagery and messages from past feminist struggles. Together, we’ll reflect on the fights that came before us, the freedoms we’ve inherited, and the work that still remains. Through guided prompts and open conversation, you’ll be invited to share: * Your personal relationship with feminism * The women and movements that shaped you * What equality means in your life today * Your hopes for the future Then, using watercolours, you’ll create your own vision of *Future Feminism* — whether that’s a symbolic poster, a soft imagined landscape of equality, powerful words layered in colour, or an abstract expression of freedom. Hallo, es ist wieder so weit, der zweite Freitag im März ist schon diese Woche. Deshalb habe ich im Neffes am Freitag Abend für uns den hintere Bereich reserviert und ich freue mich schon, euch wieder persönlich zu sehen! Und hier der übliche Ankündigungstext: Unser zweimonatliches Treffen steht wieder an! An jedem zweiten Freitag eines ungeraden Monats treffen wir Selbstständige, Unternehmer und Freiberufler aus der IT uns wieder um 19:00 Uhr im Neffes. Bei einem gemütlichen Zusammensein werden wir uns über fast alle Themen unterhalten. Der Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf den beruflichen Themen. Z. B. wie gehen andere mit den Kunden und deren Mitarbeitern um, was sind die neuesten Insider Infos von den verschiedenen Unternehmen, wie sieht es bei den anderen mit den Einsatzorten und Arbeitsbedingungen aus und vieles mehr. Es wird wie immer ein interessanter Abend mit einem umfangreichen Erfahrungsaustausch werden, der einen auch beruflich weiterbringt. Mit dem DBITS e.V. wollen wir die Anerkennung von IT-Freiberuflern in der Gesellschaft und Politik vorantreiben. Dort gibt es leider noch einen sehr großen Aufhol- und Aufklärungsbedarf und damit viel zu besprechen und zu erfahren. Des Weiteren bietet uns der Verein ein breites Netzwerk an Leuten mit den gleichen Zielen und Problemen. Aber wie gesagt, das Ziel ist ein schöner, informativer Abend, es gibt kein Mitgliederzwang. This is a **shuffle**/**cutting shapes** class for beginner and intermediate shufflers where we'll be working on **combos**. **Beginner shufflers** will get the chance to learn some basic steps and practice them stress-free in short combos to various speeds. **Intermediate shufflers** will learn to vary these basic steps with additional leg and arm movements, learn to combine them in new ways, keep practicing their foundations, and try to integrate the new combos into their freestyle. Join us to for an evening of art, music and food to help raise funds for the Full Spoon Collective, a mutual aid collective that cooks and distributes vegan food to people who need it on the streets of Berlin. In collaboration with our great models and musician friends we are joining forces to bring dynamic poses and compositions to life, explore and unwind our creativity. We meet and sketch each other in Berlin. This is just an art gym that we also exercise our social skills. Afterwards usually we go for lunch as a group. **How Does It Work?** This event is simple, we meet and sketch each other doing portraits. Most of the participants use pencils or watercolors. Main aim is to socialize while we draw. There will be plenty of time to talk and get to know each other. We have to mention that this event is suitable for all levels. Many have started to draw in our event actually. **Structure** A. Warmup Phase: We pose to each other for 1 minute. B. Main Phase: We pose to each other for 10 minutes. C. Showcase Phase: We show some of the drawings we did to each other. **Who We Are** Creative Sessions is an art events group located in Berlin. **Is it Free?** The event is free of charge. It is advisable to get a drink though. This is a cafe, we need to have at least half of the people on each table with a drink. They accept only cash and most hot drinks cost from 2.50 to 3.50. **How to help or donate?** The event is provided for free but many people help this be a regular thing. You’ve been meaning to make a film… but somehow it never happens. The **Movie Nerds Filmmaking Challenge** is here to change that. Over the next **8 weeks**, we challenge you and ourselves to write, shoot, and finish a short film. At this kick-off event we will: * reveal the **official challenge prompt** * explain the **rules and timeline** * share tips on **how to make a film** within the challenge timeframe * **creative sessions** to get you into gear * help you **find collaborators** if you want to work in a team You can join as a **director, writer, actor, cinematographer, editor**, or just someone curious about filmmaking. Welcome to the Art School - 20's & 30's artists Meetup group! This is a community for young artists who are passionate about exploring different mediums and techniques in the world of art. Whether you're a painter, sculptor, photographer, or mixed media artist, this group is the perfect place to connect with like-minded individuals, have a space to work on your craft, and showcase your work. This month we will be discussing **Frank Santoro**, an American cartoonist, painter, and comics critic known for his expressive lines, experimental page layouts, and vibrant use of color. His graphic novels—including *Storeyville*, *Pompeii*, and *Pittsburgh*—blend personal storytelling with innovative visual structure, often exploring memory, place, and relationships. In addition to his comics, Santoro has been an influential voice in comics education and criticism, co-founding the magazine *ComicsComics* and creating the **Santoro Correspondence Course for Comic Book Makers**, which has helped train and inspire a new generation of cartoonists. Afterwards, we will have time to work on our individual art projects, hang out, and if anyone is interested in feedback on their work, there will be time for that as well.

This is a relaxed, community-driven Unity GameDev meetup. There’s no strict agenda this time — just developers getting together to talk shop, share projects, and exchange ideas. **Some topics that may come up (based on attendee interest):** • Frame Debugger & performance tooling • Addressables & additive scene workflows • Input System, localization, responsive UI • AI integration approaches • DevOps & LiveOps experiences • Full lifecycle: idea → cross-platform publishing • Favorite Asset Store tools and hidden gems • Weird Unity quirks we’ve all run into *Nothing is locked in.* Bring a project if you’d like.
