This group is for badminton enthusiasts who are passionate about exploring the connections between metabolism, energy, and exercise. We are welcome beginner plus, intermediate and advance level players looking to improve your skill or a seasoned player seeking to optimize your performance on the court, this group is for you! Join us for friendly games. This badminton session is a weekly event and it is followed with dinner together but it is optional. Since we have 3 courts and allowed the maximum of 24 players so that everyone signs up for this event will be placed on waiting list FIRST then will be moved to the joining list on WEDNESDAY MORNING. Let's enjoy a leisurely walk along the **Beltline Trail,** from Castle Frank Station through the scenic paths of the **Mount Pleasant Cemetery** and historic **Evergreen Brickworks**. A unique opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and encounter some local wildlife without leaving the city. Our hike follows an abandoned historic steam rail line and explores the wooded **Don River Ravines**. You will see evidence of the industrial heritage of the area and enjoy the park-like ambience of the **Mount Pleasant Cemetery** (dating from 1873). This cemetery features an arboretum, statues, fountains and botanical gardens and is the resting place for many famous Canadians. We will also visit the popular **Evergreen Brickworks** located just east of the ravine -- a thriving environmentally based cultural centre The former Don Valley Pressed Brick Works was begun by the Taylor family in 1891. Although later sold and renamed, the factory continued to manufacture bricks and became one of Ontario's oldest and longest operating brickworks, finally closing its kilns in 1988.
