German Sprachcafé at Denizen! From A1 to B2 *Read Description
German Sprachcafé at Denizen! From A1 to B2 *Read Description
**Hi everyone!** We’ll now be meeting twice a week at Denizen House (Köpenicker Str. 40, 10179 Berlin), on **Mondays and Wednesdays**! * **Mondays:** levels A1 to B2 * **Wednesdays:** levels B1 to C1 We work with dedicated materials tailored to each level, so everyone will have a place to practice and improve. **Event schedule** * **18:00 – 18:30** Arrival and registration * **18:30 – 19:50** Sprachcafé * **19:50 – 20:00** End and clean up Please be aware that the moderated event starts at **18:30**. Before this time, we are busy setting up the space. Registrations usually take place around **18:15 / 18:20**. Participants are kindly asked **not to arrive too far in advance** at the house. If someone arrives much earlier, Denizen may ask them to pay either for a drink (consumption) or for a **day pass**, as the space is a co-working environment during the day. **Please remember, our event is only happening from 18:00 to 20:00** **How the Sprachcafé works** We use different materials to help participants gain confidence in German. Together with whiteboards and our volunteers, the Sprachcafé is based on **interactive conversations** in small groups. **Participation fee** The Sprachcafé has a **participation fee of 5 €**, which helps cover organizational costs and **includes one soft drink for free**. Tickets can be purchased directly on the day of the event, card and cash payments are accepted. As the Sprachcafé has become very popular, we now need to **limit the number of participants**. Please understand this measure; it ensures that everyone has a comfortable space to practice. We kindly ask you to be **rücksichtsvoll** and only RSVP “Yes” if you are certain you can attend. If your plans change at the last minute, please update your RSVP so someone on the waiting list can take your spot. Getting your ticket early can help secure your place. **Please note** Our event will begin **promptly** at the scheduled start time. If you arrive late, we cannot guarantee your participation, even if you have a ticket or have RSVP’d. We encourage all guests to arrive on time to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. **About Denizen** Denizen is a new-style co-working space focused on being an integral part of local communities. Located on the ground floor of the historic Eiswerk on Köpenicker Straße in Kreuzberg, Denizen House is a communal place providing work, refreshment, and recreational facilities throughout the day. Think of it as a living room for the neighborhood. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to let me know. If you’d like to contribute to this night, send me a message! Ich freue mich schon! Grüße, **Nacho**

Mysore style is a self driven practice with assistance from the teacher on alignments. The Ashtanga flow is pre-defined and required to be followed in the same order. The pace is chosen by the practitioner and achieve what is possible in 90mins. Energetic, synchronized breath and movements make your body flow like water and unveil your true natural energy. You can start Ashtanga with any proficiency level, regardless of age, gender or weight, and build up your skills step by step. Each asana builds from the previous one like a brick creating a firm wall.

Read Editing: Monthly Writers Meetup for Sharing, Feedback & Co-Creating
\*This is a free event, but please [donate through Eventbrite](https://www.eventbrite.de/e/read-editing-monthly-writers-meetup-tickets-1981513291596?aff=oddtdtcreator) to support our collective if you are able! Please join us on the 2nd Monday of every month for this event, built for all of your “in between works“ by the [Read Wedding](https://www.instagram.com/readwedding/) collective. Most events for writers are focused around ***creation or performance***. Much comes between this, yet we do not always hold each other through that phase. It is perhaps expected that all of those self-questioning, unsure, multi-path moments between lightbulb idea and snap-inducing performances are to be personal and private--but they do not always have to be. We therefore offer you a space for everything unfinished. Needing bouncing around. Ready for a test run. We will meet in the back room of Cafe Cralle, ***which is a cash only***, collective-run staple of the Berlin writing and queer scene, for a more traditional meetup format than our open mic. The evening will be without any set structure of facilitation, but rather an approach determined based on who's arrived and what their goals are. You may expect some combination of solitary writing time, sharing and feedback, and guided exercises. We'd love for you to show up however you are, and with some writing materials (including your phone, if you prefer). However you arrive, so long as you are feeling curious and open, we will have something for you and your work. See you there! Brooks, Bubamarrë, Maggie & Johanna Re(a)d VVedding Kollektiv \-\-\- **NOTE: Excluding select, small workshops, Read Wedding has hosted entirely free events since we started. If you have the means and would like to support us, it goes a long way. Please consider [donating through Eventbrite](https://www.eventbrite.de/e/read-editing-monthly-writers-meetup-tickets-1981513291596?aff=oddtdtcreator).**

Bridging the Implementation Gap in AI for Stroke Interventions
Bridging the Implementation Gap in AI for Stroke Interventions
**Join us for our next Machine Learning in Healthcare meetup in Berlin — proudly sponsored by the QUEST Centre!** Pizza is still back! We are very happy to announce our speaker **Frank te Nijenhuis**, who is a PhD candidate at the ICAI Stroke Lab at Erasmus MC in Rotterdam. With a background in medicine and computer science, he develops deep‑learning models to support real‑time clinical decision-making during stroke treatment. **His talk´s title is:** **Bridging the Implementation Gap in AI for Stroke Interventions: Challenges and Opportunities** **Abstract:** In recent years, rapid advances in artificial intelligence (AI) have led to a proliferation of AI models in medical imaging. However, despite promising performance in research settings, many of these models have yet to translate into meaningful clinical impact. In this talk, Frank will highlight several AI models developed for stroke imaging and examine the barriers that hinder their implementation in clinical practice. He will explore potential pathways to overcome these challenges and conclude with an interactive discussion on co-creation as a strategy to bridge the gap between innovation and real-world adoption. *** 📍 **Location:** “Atrium” conference room, 5th floor, Spreepalais, Anna-Louisa-Karsch-Straße 2, 10178 Berlin 🕕 **Doors open at 6:00 pm** — Talks start **at 7:00 pm!** * 6:00–7:00 pm — Arrival, food, and networking * 7:00 pm — Welcome by the hosts, followed by the talk + Q&A * 8:00 pm — More networking (and possibly more pizza) ⚠️ *Pro tip:* Sometimes only one of the four elevators is working! 📢 **IMPORTANT:** If you RSVP but later realize you can’t make it, *please release your spot* so others can join. *** This meetup is made possible with the kind support of the **QUEST Centre for Responsible Research at BIH**, who are providing both the venue and the delicious refreshments. We look forward to seeing you there!x

Stop Guessing: A Product Person's Guide to AI Adoption
## 🤝 Host Information A co-hosted event by ProductTank Columbus & Women in Product Columbus 💡 About the Workshop AI adoption is stalling across organizations — not because of a lack of motivation or tools, but because it's fundamentally a behavior design challenge. This hands-on workshop applies proven Behavior Design models and methods to help you move from a vague organizational wish to boost AI adoption to 3-5 concrete, testable interventions you can act on starting tomorrow. Whether you're a product manager, on a product team, or just someone trying to get AI to actually stick at work, you'll leave with a clear picture of what's worth focusing on, what to ignore, and how to drive real, sustained adoption — no guesswork required. 🛠️ What to Bring Laptop: Fully charged and ready to go. AI Assistant: Have your favorite AI assistant pulled up. (Dom will be using Claude, but feel free to use whichever assistant you prefer!) 🍕 Logistics & Perks Food & Drink: Pizza and drinks provided! In-Person Event: The Answers to Depression & Anxiety
In-Person Event: The Answers to Depression & Anxiety
This is an in-person meeting. At this meeting you will get answers to depression and anxiety. Find out the source of them and how to get rid of them. Did you know that unwanted emotions like anxiety, depression, unhappiness, loneliness, hopelessness, anger, fear, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not due to a chemical imbalance in your brain from some nebulous chemical reaction "by chance". Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you. The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life. Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life. Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there. This group is created by the Hubbard Dianetics Foundation of Central Ohio and Church of Scientology of Central Ohio.
