Neurodivergent Workshop with Futurium: What the future holds
This interactive workshop offers participants a unique opportunity to actively engage with and reflect upon the possibilities of tomorrow.
**Organized in collaboration with [Futurium](https://futurium.de/en)**[,](https://futurium.de/en) the session is designed to be participatory, blending reflection, discussion, and creative hands-on activities.
**Location:** **[Futurium](https://maps.app.goo.gl/uqRAq7npeFKubvbu5)**, see the workshop room on the map attached in this event.
đž We will be documenting the event. However, we will fully anonymize all participants by covering faces with stickers in the final media. If youâd prefer not to be in any shot at all, you are welcome to step away briefly during those moments.
**What to expect:**
* **Introduction (approx. 20 minutes)**
We begin with a journey into the pastâexamining historical postcards from the 19th and early 20th centuries that depict imagined futures. Participants are invited to explore and discuss these images together, considering what feels surprising, what turned out to be accurate, and how past visions compare to the technologies we know today.
**Optionally,** we will also screen a short video featuring young people from 1966 sharing their predictions for the year 2000âoffering an additional prompt for reflecting on how future visions are shaped by their historical and cultural context.
* **Interactive Exchange (approx. 20 minutes)**
Next, participants take part in a guided âopinion swapâ exercise using prompt cards. This dynamic format encourages movement, discussion, and the exchange of diverse perspectives within the groupâmaking space for a wide range of voices and viewpoints.
* **Creative Activity (approx. 20 minutes)**
To close, the group will collaborate on designing an âobject from the future.â This hands-on exercise invites participants to imagine possible developments and express their ideas creativelyâturning abstract speculation into tangible, shared visions.
**About the Organizers:**
This workshop is organized by[ Futurium](https://futurium.de/en) in collaboration with the Berlin Neurodivergent Community. Please keep in mind that all of berlin neurodivegrent community organizers are neurodivergent volunteers who contribute their time, energy, and resources to make this event possible. We kindly ask for your patience, kindness, and mutual respect throughout the sessionâwe are here to learn, share, and create together in a supportive environment.
We look forward to welcoming you and exploring the futureâtogether!
Seitai free group session
Come join us for a gentle yet powerful Seitai group practice â a space where silence, breath, and spontaneous movement meet. This is a donation-based event, so youâre free to contribute what feels right (from 0⏠to (your choice)âŹ).
âš What is Seitai?
Seitai (æŽäœ) is a Japanese practice that helps you reconnect with your bodyâs innate intelligence. Through subtle awareness and guided techniques, youâll be invited to:
Listen deeply to your body through Yuki (a meditative, hands-on practice of sensing and following the breath).
Release hidden tension with Katsugen â allowing involuntary, spontaneous movements to arise naturally.
Find balance in stillness and movement, letting your body recalibrate itself in surprising ways.
Seitai is not about control or forcing; itâs about giving voice to the movements your body has been waiting to express. Sometimes this brings ease, clarity, and lightness. Sometimes it stirs up dizziness, discomfort, or emotions. Every experience is valid â and you are always free to pause or leave at any time.
đ Why join?
Discover a practice that many find deeply transformative.
Create space for release, renewal, and vitality.
Explore in community, whether youâre a curious first-timer or already familiar with Seitai.
đ Practical details
Wear comfortable clothes and bring a towel and water to stay hydrated.
Bring openness and curiosity.
Watchers are welcome â you can simply observe, or dive into active practice.
The session is guided, but the real teacher is your own body.

đ° This event is donation-based, supporting the space and allowing us to keep offering it. Private one-to-one sessions are also available at an affordable price.
đż Step into silence, breath, and spontaneous movement â your body knows the way.

âš Was ist Seitai?

**A two-session sustainable experience inspired by folk characters and traditional mask-making. You will design and create your own character mask in a hands-on and creative way.**
**Guardians are masks with presenceâimagined characters that accompany and bring personality to a space**. You can create a small or large mask, designed either to wear or to hang.
**Day 1:** Inspiration & Mask Building
*"In Japan, masks often embody transformation, character, and symbolic presence.*
*In the Andes, masks connect animals, imagination, and collective storytelling (...)"*
We begin with a visual introduction to mask-making across cultures, exploring how artists draw inspiration from celebrations, nature, animals, and imaginary characters to create expressive forms.
Youâll bring your own idea (or choose from a selection of references) to design your Guardian character. You can choose between different formats â wearable masks or small sculptural faces for the wall â working with accessible materials such as recycled cardboard, papier-mĂąchĂ©, fabric, and mixed textures.
**Day 2:** Painting & Finishing
In the second session, we bring the characters to life through colour, texture, materials and detail. You will choose a colour palette and combine acrylic paints with acrylic markers to create different finishing effects. The workshop closes with a relaxed sharing moment, where participants can present their character and creative process.
**All basic materials are included:** *cardboard, paper, paste, papier-mĂąchĂ©, acrylic paints, fabrics, threads, and decorative textures.* You are welcome to bring \*personal materials \* if you wish â colours, fabrics, small objects, or symbolic elements you would like to incorporate into your piece.

It will be fun!
**A bit about me**

How to Structure AI Prompts Effectively
**This event is taking place online.**
You write a prompt. You get something back that's almost right, or completely off, or weirdly generic. You tweak it. You try again. Sound familiar?
Better prompts aren't about magic phrases, they're about giving the model what it can't guess: who you are, who this is for, what shape the output should take, and what it needs to do.
This session shows you the difference on a real example, gives you time to try it on something from your own work, and covers some prompting best practices along the way.
17:00 â Intro & live demo
17:20 â What made the difference? A discussion round
17:35 â Test your own prompt against a shared document 17:50 â What we noticed, what to keep, and where to go next
Optional but great: Bring something you've tried to use AI for and hasn't quite landed.

Our Partner Agency for this event is Lutheran Social Services! A huge THANK YOU to those volunteering at this (or any of our previous or future) CMG Gives Back events!
Look forward to seeing you there, Dan
In-Person Event: The Answers to Depression & Anxiety
This is an in-person meeting. At this meeting you will get answers to depression and anxiety. Find out the source of them and how to get rid of them.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like anxiety, depression, unhappiness, loneliness, hopelessness, anger, fear, or feelings of irritation donât just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not due to a chemical imbalance in your brain from some nebulous chemical reaction "by chance".
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
