We reserve our right to adapt the setup according to the audience level, vibe, health, weather, shape etc SETUP ● 2 courts (2 vs 2), 1 team is rotating or taking a rest court 1: minim 6 players court 2: minim 4 players ● 2 courts - 10-12 people (more players, we make small teams and play shorts, all combination; the hosts have the last word. proposals are welcome) ● The event organisers or experienced player are entitled to send players on the second court ● We are respectfull and warm with each other, our cultural and professional background is diverse. ● New proposals are welcome :). This is a group for meeting new people, eating brunch, and having discussions about science, life, philosophy, politics, and people. Anybody is free to join, and we charge no fees. This discussion group aims to have the absolute minimal level of structure necessary to ensure the conversation remains engaging to the majority of people present. In particular, we \*don't\* have fixed order of speaking or timed statements. So far, the balance we've struck is enforcing hand raising when conversation gets intense in order to minimize interruption, and to give the chair (me!) the power to occasionally call a snap election on the conversation topic.

Though we try to start on dot, being late isn't a problem—just find a spot and get to work! We write until 20:00 and then discuss how our writing went. From fiction to non-fiction, academic papers to poetry, applications to work-related writing—anything goes! Nothing is needed except for you to bring whatever is need to get stuff done, i.e. laptop, headphones, pen and paper, and so on. Optional socialising may happen before 18:00 and after 20:00, or you may choose to use this time to get some more done! Join us on a relaxed evening bike tour along the Donauinsel to enjoy the sunset in a beautiful setting during the longest day of the year! We start at the bike rental at Copa Beach in Kaisermühlen and ride leisurely towards the eastern end of the Donauinsel. The route takes you past the Kraftwerk Freundau and offers wonderful views of the Danube and the surrounding nature along the way. We take a break at the end of the Donauinsel to watch the sunset in peace and enjoy the atmosphere. This is our weekly event! Hey Badminton Enthusiasts! This meet-up is for all levels: beginners, intermediates and experts. Everyone is welcome to join, test their skills and have some fun together! The host will reserve courts in advance, that means please only register if you really plan to come (or cancel at least 24 hours before the event starts). The fee for this event is 12€ (for the 2 hours). If you plan on paying in cash, please bring the exact amount as the host might not have any change available. We are meeting at about 10:55 am near the reception by the lounge area (next to the courts). Come a bit earlier so you have time to change into workout/sports clothes. The locker rooms are free to use, but for the men lockers you need a padlock - or you can also take your bag of clothes upstairs to the courts if you do not have a padlock. Also, bring clean indoor sports shoes, your racket and a water bottle with you. There is a drinking fountain available if you need to replenish your bottle. If you do not have a racket, it is possible to rent rackets from the club, if necessary (3€). Sometimes the host or other members have spare rackets - please ask in the comment section below! When you approach the front desk/main entry area there will be some seating just outside the cafe area. If you can meet us there by 11:20 we'll head into the gallery area as a group, but if you arrive after that time feel free to message us through the meetup app, and we'll do our best to connect you with the group!
