Public Speaking & Leadership Meeting at Blue Danube Leaders Toastmasters Club
**Discover the Power of Public Speaking & Leadership — Join the Blue Danube Leaders!**
Are you looking for a new hobby that's not only fun but also helps you grow?
Join us at **Blue Danube Leaders**, a Toastmasters club where you can improve your **public speaking**, **leadership**, and **communication** skills - all in a friendly, encouraging environment.
Whether you’re just starting out or are already a seasoned speaker, you're welcome as our guest.
**What happens at a Meeting?**
Our meetings follow a structured, interactive format:
* **Welcome and Introduction**
The meetings begin with a warm welcome from the Club President and the host (called *Toastmaster of the Evening)*. Then, we do a short introduction round where everyone - guests too - say a few words on the evening's topic.
* **Word of the Day**
A challenge that builds your language skills and sharpens your attention to word choice. A special word is introduced and everyone is invited to use this word whenever they speak.
* **Table Topics**
This is an exciting segment! Volunteers - guests too! - are invited to speak for 1-2 minutes on a surprise question or topic. It's a great way to practice thinking on your feet.
* ***Short Break of 10 minutes***
* **Prepared Speeches**
* Members deliver speeches prepared ahead of time, usually 5-7 minutes in length. Each speech is a step in the Toastmasters learning pathway.
* **Evaluations**
Every speech will be thoughtfully evaluated by a designated Evaluator. These evaluations focus on strengths, improvement tips, and encouragement. It's a crucial part of the Toastmasters experience.
* **Role Reports**
Throughout the meeting, members take on supportive roles that ensure the flow of the evening and give everyone a chance to grow.
**Be our guest!**
This meetup is open to guests.
Toastmasters have a separate platform for the member registration. There are always 10+ people in the meeting.
Join us at **18:45 CET** for a casual **Meet & Greet**;
The program starts **sharp at 19:00 CET.**
After the meeting, we often head to a nearby spot for food or drinks - a great way to relax and connect!

Introduction to Argentine Tango
Last chance to meet tango before the official course 🤩
Learn about real tango, the dance of connection!
Real tango is a conversation. Two people, close together, listening to each other through embrace, weight and breath.
The leader proposes. The follower responds. The dance emerges from that - improvised, alive, completely in the present moment.
It is one of the most direct ways I know to practice both body and mind.
In this introductory evening, you'll learn the basic structure of the embrace and a few simple steps.
More importantly, you'll begin to feel what tango is actually about: connection. To your own body first, then to another person.
You don't need a partner. You don't need dance experience.
You need comfortable shoes with a smooth sole and an open mind.
I've been dancing tango for years, and I come to it from the same place I come to everything else I teach: the body knows things the mind doesn't. Tango is one of the ways we learn to trust that.
Partners are rotated during class so you practice with everyone.
If you want to connect, join our WhatsApp Community: https://chat.whatsapp.com/GBNrqkP0AUD4O4XCydmhgM?mode=gi_t
Teachers and organisers Sara & Nemanja are competitive dancers and teachers who discovered their love for tango and now want to share it!

Meeting the Inner Child in Holotropic States - A Transpersonal Perspective
What if your “inner child” wasn’t just a concept—but a vivid, living presence you can actually meet?
In this talk, Sonja explores how inner child work unfolds during practices like holoptropic breathwork — where early imprints, unmet needs, and developmental trauma can emerge with clarity, emotional depth, and transformative potential. Going beyond traditional therapeutic models, we’ll explore how these experiences move through various layers of the psyche where different “inner children” and dimensions of the self may appear.
Through real examples from holotropic sessions, this lecture sheds light on the healing intelligence of expanded states—and how they can help unravel deep relational patterns.
🌀 A blend of theory & lived experience
🌀 Space for dialogue
🌀 Short guided journey to meet your inner child
Come with curiosity, leave with a deeper, more grounded perspective. After the talk, feel free to stay and connect with like-minded individuals in a relaxed atmosphere.
Doors open: 18:30 // Start: 19:00
Entry 5€ cash only (Members free; become a member: psychedelicsociety.at)
Sagedergasse 18, 1120 Vienna (Entry between Billa and Bipa) (not barrier-free)

"Under the Oak Tree" by Suji Kim
Join us for lunch/tea at Asterisk Supper Club to discuss our May book "Under the Oak Tree" by Suji Kim
Lady Maximilian is the daughter of the powerful Duke Croyso, but she is rarely allowed outside her family’s sprawling castle for fear that her stutter will tarnish their noble name. When she is forced to marry Sir Riftan, a lowborn knight caught in one of her father’s schemes, Maxi doesn’t dare hope for happiness, let alone love. Her stumbling communication and his gruff manner sour their relationship before it can begin, and Riftan leaves without a word the morning after their vows are exchanged.
Now, three years after their disastrous wedding night, Riftan has returned as a war hero. To Maxi’s surprise, despite rumors that he was offered marriage to Princess Agnes, a beautiful and renowned sorceress, Riftan still wants Maxi for his wife. And when he comes to claim her, his longing becomes a desire that bewilders Maxi, even as she is overcome by the scorching heat that Riftan’s presence ignites within her. As she learns to navigate the intricacies of her new life, Maxi will find herself and her courage, and discover that she is anything but powerless.
CBusData - Practical AI for Power BI Developers
Practical AI for Power BI Developers
A year ago, “agentic AI” was mostly hype for Power BI teams. Today, it deserves your undivided attention. For Power BI pros, there is now a real opportunity to reduce repetitive development work, accelerate delivery, and help developers do more, but only when strong DataOps practices are in place to make AI workflows effective.
This session is a no-nonsense introduction to effective AI patterns for Power BI and Fabric development. Along the way, we will make sense of the growing pile of terminology, including skills, plugins, hooks, and MCP. You will see examples of how modern AI tooling can help with development tasks across Power BI and Fabric, along with the prerequisites, guardrails, and DataOps principles needed to use it responsibly.
Whether you're burned out on AI hype or already using Copilot CLI daily, this session will show you the foundations that are finally making AI-assisted development genuinely useful.
