A space survival thriller from the same guy who wrote The Martian. Runtime is approx 2hr 30mins. After the movie, we could go for a drink or light eats and chat about the movie. It’s Cheap Tuesday, so tickets are $13.50. Get your tickets online, or at the booth - unlikely to be crowded. Going for the 3:20pm screening. Our monthly Northern social is held at Moon Dog World in Preston. Moon Dog World is a brewery, restaurant and bar with a lagoon, waterfall, hidden tiki bar and much more! Atmosphere is on the family restaurant side (dogs and kids a plenty!) but still a fun tropical style environment. Food is better than standard pub fare with exotic flavours and generous serves. Fun for pretty much everyone, so come along and enjoy it with us. Do you live in the Northern or perhaps even the Western suburbs and are interested in catching-up with like minded people? Come along for dinner and meet some friendly people. Our group is informal and open to all. We pay for own food and drinks individually and there is no charge for the organisation of the events. Welcome to our little badminton crew! 🏸 We’re a small non-profit community group who simply love playing badminton, staying active, and bringing people together. Everyone here volunteers their time, and any small fees just go towards court hire and shuttlecocks so we can keep the games going for everyone. All skill levels are welcome — whether you’re a beginner or have played for years. It’s all about good vibes, friendly rallies, and meeting new people who enjoy the sport. Hi Everyone, This Sunday's Walk will be the popular **Bay Trail** from **Beaumaris to Mentone Beach.** We'll meet at the outside the **Ricketts Point Tea House** on the beachfront at Beaumaris and walk as a group to Mentone Beach and return. **When**: **Sunday 12th April 2026** at 9:00am **Parking**: Paid parking in the council beachfront carpark. Alternatively, park in Reserve Road and walk a short distance. Parking here is free. **Distance:** Total walking time approximately 2 hours and it’ll be just under 7 kilometers. **Coffee**: Ricketts Point Tea House on our return.

Join us for a two mile trail hike alongside the Brookside Trail at Blendon Woods Metro Park. This trail is largely gravel and does include some hills and stairs. Hopefully we will see some wildlife while hike this scenic trail! Join us!

This trail is a meandering path through the woods. There will be some overlooks and a couple stops at the creek as well as time along a waterway. It will not be a fast paced hike. There is some elevation change and uneven terrain. I will be using poles just to be safe! Will aim to get in about three miles. Optional lunch after if there is an interest.
