**Brief Statement** WordPress 6.9 “***Gene***”, released on the 2nd December is the final major release of the year, building on the block editor’s evolution with enhanced collaboration tools like block-level notes, new blocks and developer-focused APIs. Not forgetting the first building blocks for AI integrations into WordPress. ***Talk description*** On 20th December, join us for a live dive into the latest major release of WordPress. We shall have live demos of the new features, share useful code snippets and tips on how to take advantage of the of the upgraded setup for our favorite CMS. **Expectations** * Live demos, QnA * Customization ideas (how to take advantage of the new and improved tools like the Abilities API)

We will hike approx 4 miles looping through the gardens, boardwalk trail and chipmunk trail.

Grab a cup of coffee from Winston's Coffee & Waffles or on your way to East Market and meet us on the second floor - table behind or east of the elevator. Hi ladies. We will meet in front of the Nature Center and head to the two Observation decks. We will then hike Hickory Ridge, Ripple Rock, Overlook and Sugarbush trails to get approximately four miles total distance. We will walk approximately a 18 minute mile pace. Please wear appropriate hiking shoes.
