Hey Chapter Twoers, one of my New Years resolutions was to be more creative in choosing restaurants for our events this year. Kitchens + Kocktails fits the bill. Here's how the restaurant describes itself: "Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley is revitalizing how the world experiences elevated southern comfort food. This gathering will be a safe place for those who are anticipating, in the midst of, or recovering from companion animal loss. Our beloved companions are considered family and the grief can be overwhelming when each reaches their time to go. Speaking about our beloveds helps validate and honor them; sharing the pain allows us to understand and process. We don’t recover from grief or go through it. We learn to carry it with us, allowing the pain to evolve into memories and ongoing love. We hope to minimize regret or guilt by being our companions’ steward and advocate. There is no cost or expectation, other than compassion for all without judgment. The facilitator is a certified Pet Loss Doula (University of Vermont) who has experienced pet loss many times. Hi ladies. Let's hike the multi purpose trail. Wear your shoe of choice. Meet in the Maple Grove Picnic area. 101 Craft Kitchen is about seven minutes away at 817 Polaris Pkwy, Westerville, OH 43082 We willl be doing a loop and I’ll ask one of the faster walkers to lead in the front and I’ll bring up the rear at a slower pace - 3.25 to 3.5 mph or slower! No one left behind!

Let's go to Alum Creek and hike parts of the Heritage Freedom Trail and the Multipurpose trail. The terrain will be both traditional hiking trail and Multipurpose trail. We'll hike about 3.7 miles at an 18-20 minute pace; faster paces are always welcome. Optional lunch following at Rusty Bucket on Polaris Parkway
