TUESDAY 👋⚽ FOOTBALL FRIENDLY 20:30-22:00 (Donaucity) w/ SORIN +Video Highlights
Things to know before playing:
Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls;
We play Tuesday Night Football (outdoor only) . We play 90 minutes (kick off is at 20:30, and we meet at least 15 minutes before for a warm up phase). Post-Corona football matches are most likely between 14-16 and 28-32 players. If you would like to join please bring artificial turf shoes (like the ones for indoor turf) and shin pads (not mandatory but definitely recommendable). All I ask is that you come with a good mood, be respectful to everyone, and pay online using the link below.

We play light: no sliding, hard tackling, fighting, screaming, & hopefully no injuries. We need to respect current regulations in Vienna, Austria.
The main priorities are to have fun and being safe. The drinks are relatively free after the game in the local pub, served to those who have shown fantastic football fair-play skills. We will confirm the location, the pitches, and the dressing room numbers via our dedicated Football WhatsApp group/s. Keep an eye out for the group messages. See you all soon.
Sorin SMS/ WhatsApp +43 6764276984 (please ask to be added to our football groups). We will probably need to confirm your presence if you are coming for the first or second time.
Important management rule:
**\> "No shows" are penalized with 10€ fee\. Please remove your name from the list at least SIX\!\!\! \(6\) HOURS before the event\.** Book a place via FootballExperiences.NET using this link [FOOTxp](https://footballexperiences.net/kickaball/)
One small final note:
Please avoid trying to take justice in your hands. If someone is talking bad, complaining, insulting someone, fouling on purpose or committing the usual football shenanigans, please let the organizers know. Measures will be taken, we assure you. Any misbehavior on your part, such as responding in an obscene way, fighting, or leaving the pitch is not a practical and diplomatic way of resolving the issues (it tends to create more tension and cause more problems). Let’s be respectful and mature and try to enjoy the game we all love.
That’s why we’re all here. Get to know people from all over the world and have fun!
Thank you.

DAY DJ: DJ teufling
Day DJ is a weekly series at Villa Vida Café where local DJs take over the space and share their sound in a daytime setting. The series focuses on new talent, experimentation, and community. It creates a low-pressure environment where DJs can develop ideas, shape their sound, and connect with people through music.
The format is intentionally relaxed and accessible. Visitors are welcome to come by to listen, work, meet friends, have coffee, or stay for the entire set. Day DJ aims to create an ongoing platform where local DJs can grow their practice while contributing to Vienna’s queer and underground music culture.
DJ teufling
DJ teufling brings a high-energy selection moving through bounce, trance, techno, acid, and Latin-inspired sounds. Expect fast-paced rhythms ranging from 135–165 BPM, mixed with playful 2000s influences and unexpected connections between genres.
DJs have always played an important role in queer culture. In spaces where queer people were excluded or unsafe, DJs helped create environments where identity, expression, connection, and experimentation could exist. Many of the foundations of modern nightlife — including house, disco, and club culture — emerged from queer communities, especially Black and Latinx scenes.
Day DJ continues this tradition by offering space for emerging artists, community exchange, and alternative forms of gathering outside of traditional nightlife hours.
Free entry. No reservation needed.

Blue Zone Dinner — The Long Table: When Strangers Become Family
Across the world, different cultures have the same word for the same sacred thing.
In the Arab world, it's ***sufra*** — the spread that holds the room.
Across Spain and Latin America, ***sobremesa*** — the hours no one wants to leave the table.
In Turkey and the Eastern Mediterranean, ***keyif*** — unhurried pleasure (the Greeks call it *kefi*, same ancient root).
Across Italy and the Lusophone world — Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique — ***convivio*** — living together through the meal.
In Southern Africa, ***ubuntu*** — "I am because we are."
In Okinawa, ***moai*** — the lifelong circle that eats, walks, and grows old together.
Across Malaysia and Indonesia, ***makan-makan*** — the easy, communal feast.
In the Sikh tradition across South Asia, ***langar*** — where every person eats as equal, seated on the same floor.
Eight cultures. Eight words. One truth: **the long table, the slow meal, the people who start as strangers and end as family.**
The Blue Zones research — Dan Buettner's work on the five places where humans live longest and healthiest (Okinawa, Sardinia, Ikaria, Nicoya, Loma Linda) — keeps pointing back to this. Not the recipe. The table. The presence. The time.
So let's do it.
**What:** One long table. Food we cook together. Hours of real conversation — emotions, relationships, philosophy, and yes, politics — not as sides, but as the questions we all carry. Here, what usually divides a room becomes the ground we meet on.
**What we leave behind:** Phones. All digital devices. None of the cultures we're honouring tonight needed them at the table — and the Blue Zones research is unambiguous: real longevity, real connection, real nervous-system repair happens only where we are not being scrolled into a loop.
**What we bring:** Ourselves. Our culture. Whatever we're carrying. Whatever we want to share.
**Open to everyone:** Whether your grandmother cooked in Beirut, Madrid, Istanbul, Naples, Johannesburg, Okinawa, Jakarta, or Amritsar — or nowhere at all — you belong at this table. The whole point is that nobody's culture runs the room. Every tradition sits beside every other.
**Before the event:** A poll goes out, so we choose the menu together.
**Now:** I'm looking for the right location — outdoors if possible, somewhere near Vienna. A garden, a terrace, a piece of land with trees and sky. If you have a spot or know one, message me. This is ours to build.
Come as you are. Stay as long as it takes.
*A small ritual before the ritual: a short call beforehand, 10 to 15 minutes. Not to screen you — to meet you. Every culture at this table starts a meal with a greeting. Ours starts here.*
— Tom
Was euch erwartet
