## What weâre about
Buongiorno a tutti. Cerco persone serie e disposte solamente a divertirsi, senza puntare mazzette grazie mille.

ZUMBA +... Aperitivo! - Sunday of Exercise, Fun and Connections
ENG
Sunday afternoon in Milan, whatâs the plan? Letâs recharge our batteries to get ready for a brand new week. Leave behind whatâs past, take the best from it, and turn it into **pure energy** for this Sunday practice.
Music will be the base of our body's movement and expression: the rythm will guide our steps and canalise our energies and emotions into something very creative and powerful.
Bring a **sports towel** and **sport clothes and sneakers**. (there are changing rooms if you need them!) Donât forget **water** to rehydrate â and your desire to recharge!
Weâll meet outside **Dunamis Loreto â Gym of the Arts**.
***Suuuuper important: Please try to arrive in time, because once the class starts we won't even hear the bell ringing - you might risk to miss the event!***
And after the event, the sweetest part: let's choose a bar and have some drinks together to get the full Milanese experience with a typical Aperitivo! (not included in the participation fee)
ITA
The GYROTONICÂŽ (with equipment) and GYROKINESISÂŽ (without equipment) methods were developed in the 1970s by Juliu Horvath, a professional Hungarian dancer who, after multiple injuries, sought a new approach to rehabilitation. This led him to create GYROTONICÂŽ, an extraordinary discipline that combines elements of dance, yoga, swimming, and tai chi.
In the GYROTONICÂŽ method, exercise sequences consist of rhythmic, circular movements that flow seamlessly from one to the next, allowing the joints to move freely and naturally, without compression. GYROTONICÂŽ is a unique and original method that stimulates the nervous system, tones the muscles, and improves balance, coordination, flexibility, and strength.
The practice of GYROTONICÂŽ is suitable for everyone, including those recovering from injuries who are looking for a new approach to rehabilitation. Each person can naturally adapt the exercises to their own physical condition and needs, so age or fitness level do not matter. The only goal is to regain agility and mobility, helping your body feel healthier and more balanced than ever.

Queues for Apache KakfaÂŽ x How MCP Bridges LLMs and Data Streams

đ **Agenda:**
* 6:15pm: Doors open/Welcome
* 6:30pm - 7:15pm: Simone Esposito, Team Lead - Software Architect @ Bitrock
* 7:15pm - 8:00pm: Viktor Gamov, Principal Developer Advocate, Confluent
* 8:00pm - 8:30pm: Additional Q&A, Drinks, Food and Networking
đĄ **First Speaker:**
Simone Esposito, Team Lead - Software Architect @ Bitrock
**Title of Talk:**
Queues for Kafka (KIP-932)
**Abstract:**
For more than a decade, Apache Kafkaâs consumption model has been governed by a strict rule: one consumer per partition within a consumer group. This limitation has shaped how teams scale their systems, design topics, and plan for peak throughput. With KIP-932, Kafka breaks this long-standing assumption and introduces a fundamentally new capability: queues. Backed by the new concept of share groups, this paradigm shift allows multiple consumers to read concurrently from the same partition.
This talk explores how KIP-932 brings native queueing semantics to Kafka, enabling true work-queue patterns without over-partitioning and greatly simplifying horizontal scaling. Weâll examine how the new message acknowledgment model works, the tradeoffs introduced by cooperative consumption, and how this feature fits alongside, and differs from, traditional Kafka consumer groups.
**Bios:**
**Simone Esposito** is Software Architect & Team Lead at Bitrock. Passionate about computer science, Simone is always excited to test himself with different technologies and learn new things. He has a strong passion for writing code and sharing knowledge with colleagues and peers in the industry. He prefers working with functional programming languages, distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
đĄ **Second Speaker:**
Viktor Gamov, Principal Developer Advocate, Confluent
**Title of Talk:**
The Missing Protocol: How MCP Bridges LLMs and Data Streams
**Abstract:**
Nobodyâs talking about this: MCP isnât just another way to build chatbots. Itâs the bridge weâve been missing between AI reasoning and real-time data systems. Teams build AI applications that work great in demos but fall apart with production data. Your agents analyze historical reports but canât tell whatâs happening in your Kafka streams. Theyâre blind to schema changes and disconnected from events that matter to your business. Instead of treating streaming platforms like black boxes, you expose them directly to your agents via MCP protocol. Suddenly, your AI doesnât just read about dataâit lives inside your data flows. Learn what becomes possible when you stop thinking about AI as an external service and start treating it as part of your streaming architecture. Weâll build systems where agents subscribe to real-time events, reason about evolving schemas, and make decisions that ripple through your data platform.
**Bio:**
Viktor Gamov is a Principal Developer Advocate at Confluent, founded by the original creators of Apache KafkaÂŽ. With a rich background in implementing and advocating for distributed systems and cloud-native architectures, Viktor excels in open-source technologies. He is passionate about assisting architects, developers, and operators in crafting systems that are not only low in latency and scalable but also highly available.
As a Java Champion and an esteemed speaker, Viktor is known for his insightful presentations at top industry events like JavaOne, Devoxx, Kafka Summit, and QCon. His expertise spans distributed systems, real-time data streaming, JVM, and DevOps.
Viktor has co-authored "Enterprise Web Development" from O'Reilly and "Apache KafkaÂŽ in Action" from Manning.
Follow Viktor on X - @gamussa to stay updated with Viktor's latest thoughts on technology, his gym and food adventures, and insights into open-source and developer advocacy.

AI Development Risk Case Studies and how Agentic AI is the future of Appsec
OWASP is ending use of Meetup, so I built an eventbrite for the event.
https://www.eventbrite.com/e/ai-development-risk-case-studies-and-how-agentic-ai-is-the-future-of-appsec-tickets-1981450622150?aff=oddtdtcreator
AI is transforming how software is designed, developed, and deployed, dramatically accelerating velocity while introducing new categories of risk. As organizations adopt AI-assisted coding, autonomous agents, and increasingly complex model interactions, traditional application security approaches struggle to keep pace. This talk examines emerging AI-driven risks through real case studies from the field, highlighting issues such as insecure code generation, data-leakage pathways, model manipulation, and evolving supply-chain threats. We will explore how engineering teams must adapt their people, processes, and governance models to secure AI-augmented development workflows effectively. The session will then introduce agentic AI as the next evolution in application securityâautonomous systems capable of continuous analysis, multi-step reasoning, and real-time remediation. Attendees will learn how combining agentic AI with modern practices can reduce developer friction, improve coverage, and create a future-ready application security strategy designed for the demands of AI-native software development
