Contact Improvisation Workshop
**Contact Improvisation Day Workshop**
**Paths of Remembrance – Introduction to Somatic Contact Improvisation (Open Level)**
Contact Improvisation is a contemporary dance form in which we playfully explore movement possibilities through shared weight. It is physics in motion as well as a felt, moving encounter.
The somatic approach opens access to the body’s inherent wisdom, supporting us in playfully building basic skills for Contact Improvisation.
**You will learn:**
* how movement is organized through the center and the spine (integrated movement organization)
* how to organize and use your own body weight organically and efficiently in dance
* how to move dynamically and three-dimensionally with a partner across different levels ✨
*
**Open Level**
This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as for people with prior experience.
Explore how all movement is organized through the center and the spine, and how you can use the body’s original (organic or integrated) movement organization to develop a solid technique for dancing with shared weight.

Do you love working on your personal growth to bring out the very best in yourself?
Is your German level at B1 or higher?
Then you are more than welcome to join my upcoming workshop!
In a small and supportive group, we will track down the obstacles that still prevent you from shining. You will learn to set clear boundaries and defend yourself with confidence in challenging situations against intrusive or demeaning behavior.
This workshop is held in German.
But if necessary, some important information can be given in English, too.
DEUTSCH

Fun Workout + Brunch
-Indoor Functional Training (All Levels) followed by Brunch!-
Come for the sweat, stay for the nourish & chill! Once a month, on the first Saturday of the month, we combine our awesome, fun workout with some brunching! In the winter, we are graciously hosted by Superbude Wien Prater.
After our fun functional training, we'll drift over to Café Brenner (also part of Superbude), find a spot to chill and enjoy the awesome location a bit longer. A nice chance to connect with the other lovely people that worked out with us and eat a little. They have all day breakfast!!!
There is no obligation to stay after the workout, but of course, you are very welcome to!
As always at My Pace, we'll bring our unique blend of playful and mindful elements to give you your fundamentally different functional training! If this is your first My Pace workout, expect HIIT, strength training with your own bodyweight and absolutely no seriousness!
A reminder for those nervous about their fitness level: Everything we do, we do with all fitness levels in mind; so the exercises are always adjustable to your level and you’re always strongly encouraged to take it at your own pace!
Infobox:
• We meet and train in the event location of the Superbude Hotel called Transponder (if you are standing in front of the main entrance of the hotel, before going in, look to your right and we'll be the next door down)
• You can always get in touch with Jason at +436802355041 (SMS or WhatsApp work best) or email us at office@mypace.at if you have any questions or need assistance (German or English)
• We highly recommend bringing a water bottle! A mat/towel to lie on is also very good to have!
• Please, please don't be late - the warm up is possibly the most important part of the workout! Plus it's kind of disrespectful to everyone else joining!
• By participating in any My Pace workout, you confirm having read and understood the General Terms and Conditions as set out at https://www.mypace.at/legal-stuff and agree to be bound by them.
Photography Workshop for Beginners | Seeing the Subject & Controlling the Image
Seeing the Subject & Controlling the Image
**Extended Photography Workshop**
Date: Saturday, 07 March (07.03.2026)
Start: 14:00
Duration: approx. 4 hours
Location\*\*:\*\* Vienna (exact meeting point shared after booking)
This workshop is created for **early-stage photographers and people who are just starting out**.
I have designed it as a **kickstart to your photography journey**, helping you build solid foundations early on so you don’t hit a creative plateau after learning only classic rules of photography.
The workshop is beginner-friendly and assumes **no deep technical knowledge**. At the same time starting with basics, we will be building foundation that will help you become even better than some of the professionals.
We’ll start with the fundamentals of exposure and camera control, then move into composition and subject-focused photography. The goal is not just to know *how* to set your camera, but to understand **why you make certain choices** and how they support the image.
Many beginners shoot from where they stand, reacting to scenes instead of observing them. This workshop helps you slow down, move with intention, and decide what the photograph is actually about before pressing the shutter.
***
##### What this workshop focuses on
* Camera basics & exposure
How your camera sensor works, what exposure really is, and how aperture, shutter speed, and ISO affect the image.
We’ll also talk about why underexposing slightly is often a deliberate choice.
* Composition fundamentals
Classic compositional rules, how to apply them simply, and how to avoid forcing them into every image.
* Finding the subject
Learning to recognise what the photo is about — even in complex or messy scenes.
* Subject-focused photography
How to move, change perspective, how to know what actually you photograph and how to do it.
* Subject separation
Using depth, light, contrast, and framing to make the subject stand out.
* Seeing before shooting
Developing the habit of observing becoming more aware and more deliberate with your photography choice.
***
### This workshop is for you if…
* you’re new to photography or still unsure about camera settings
* you want a strong foundation for visual arts.
* you feel your photos lack focus or intention
* you want to avoid common beginner mistakes early on
### This workshop is not for you if…
* you’re already confident with exposure and subject-driven images
* you’re mainly looking for advanced lighting or post-processing techniques
* you want quick tricks instead of understanding photography.
Learning photography is like learning a language, I do not teach you how to order/photograph a coffee cup but give you understanding how to shoot/say anything, yet learning is a longer process and you will need more practice later to master it.
With this course I will give you a strong base and it prepares you for the **Light** and **Storytelling** workshops later on.

Social Book Club - Science Fiction Circle 🪐
Heyho and welcome to our cozy Science Fiction Circle which is part of the Social Book Club! We meet every month to discuss one book (or short story).
This time we read the hard science fiction novel **"Echopraxia" (2014)** by the Canadian author **Peter Watts**, sequel of the book "Blindsight", which we already discussed in November. It's not necessary to have read the first part, but it helps to understand some concepts that are not explained in the second. Anyway please read at least "Echopraxia" before the book club, to follow the discussion.
We meet at IKEA Westbahnhof at JOE&JOE'S in the 5th floor. Drinks and some food can be bought there.

Run+B-fast
Hi Running fellows,
Whether you’re a walker, new to running, a semi-pro, a marathonist or a sprint star - if you want to start your weekend in an active way and enjoy the outdoors in lovely surroundings with a fun, international and multilingual group of people, you are welcome to join us!
Every Saturday at 9:30 am, we meet, we run, in the magnificent Schönbrunn park, and then we go for breakfast.
Want to discuss politics or the best recipes for banana pancakes? Not a problem. Not feeling social? Tune out with your earbuds - we can talk over breakfast. We are casual. You can be too.
What to expect: Start by meeting Adrian, Ali, Liz, Paul and Sonia on-time at 9:30am outside the Schönbrunn U-Bahn stop (exit Grünbergstraße). (Coordinates: 48.1858130, 16.3200640) From there, we walk to the side park entrance where the “running” part begins. The important thing is that you run at your own pace. Typically, small groups of people will run at the same pace as you, so you never have to walk/run alone :)
We finish one hour later, at about 10:40am, reconvening just inside the Hietzinger Tor exit. (Coordinates: 48.1858825, 16.3032647). From there, we’re off to breakfast!
Breakfast Details: Anker bakery opposite the U4 Hietzing station and depending on the weather, grab something for a picnic in Schönbrunn park, or hang out in the bakery. If you missed us earlier, you can always go there around 10:45.
We are a fun group of runners who don’t take things too seriously. We meet, chat, RUN, stretch, chat, EAT and we hang out over a beer every now and then. It's that easy. Please join us for breakfast after the run! The more the merrier.
Typically we are 10-30 people, as not everyone who comes signs up on meetup.
Important disclaimer: Please only run as much as you feel you can, considering the temperature, weather conditions, your own fitness etc... run and walk at your own pace as the organizers do not assume any liability for any injuries or health issues. Sonia, Adrian, Ali, Paul and Liz

Astrology Cafe - connect with the inner Life
🎊 2026 – such an astrologically momentous year! With significant planetary shifts and super rare cosmic alignments on the horizon, there's no better time to deepen your connection with yourself and understand what this unbelievable year has in store.
**Why Astrology?**
Astrology is a symbolic language 🌌 and, as such, it is the ideal method for understanding and connecting with our unconscious. If you want to get to know yourself better and strengthen the connection to your inner wisdom and creativity, then this session is for you. 💫
**What Makes This Different:**
This is not a classical teaching event. Rather, what you can expect here is a fun, guided experience, mixing astrology with **creative journaling** ✍️ and **meditative reflection** 🧘. You will get a chance to flex your intuitive muscles and also meet some like-minded seekers and thinkers. After this session, you will understand how astrology can be used to forge a deeper connection with yourself and access more of the magic you carry.
**What to Expect:**
This cozy session will give you the chance to connect with peers and become more mindful of your astrology journey through deeper understanding and perspectives. Every week we are working on a different topic, question, chart placement, etc. Feel free to become a regular, or drop by whenever you wish.
🌙 We will begin the session with an introduction of all participants
⭐ We will then guide you through various exercises in small groups, meant to help you to explore the wealth that astrology has in store for you.
💬 The session will conclude with an open discussion, and a chance to ask any questions.
**Who Should Attend:**
This session is open to complete beginners 🌱 as well as those who have experience with astrology. It is recommended to have your birth chart available. To generate your chart, I recommend using the website ***astro.com***
💰This event is offered COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE but donations are more than welcome. You can donate using **PayPal** (paypal.me/furtunadincarpati) or **Revolut** (revolut.me/misterclarity).

Bring Forward Your Important Work
**If you carry important work inside you — creative, entrepreneurial, or otherwise — and it remains unfinished, this session is for you.**
We’ll explore the inner shift that allows meaningful work to move from longing into life. With guided reflection, conversation, and a simple worksheet, we’ll name what’s calling you, notice where the friction is, and begin to loosen what’s been holding the work back.
This is about meeting the work at the level it’s asking for — identity, courage, coherence, and commitment.
You’ll leave with a clearer relationship to what wants to come through you, a deeper understanding of what has stalled it, and a renewed sense of possibility and forward movement.
I’ll provide a worksheet to guide the process.
You can bring a notebook and pen.
This gathering is hosted by **The Goldmine Life Design Studio** — a space devoted to helping people bring meaningful work into the world by aligning vision, identity, and direction.
www.thegoldmine.life
Feel free to look around and download your free Intelligences Map to understand how clarity, decisions, and movement actually form.
I very much look forward to this conversation and supporting your vision.

* **Den eigenen Sinn erkennen** – was trägt dich wirklich?
