Or is it just social performance?* In this session of **Marginal Thoughts**, we go full meta by talking about talking. Before indulging in this mild crisis of purpose, we'll read these three short pieces: * An essay by Ursula K. A selection of essential oils will be available, and you can intuitively choose one that attracts you. Take a moment to notice what the scent evokes - **colors, textures, memories, or images**. You can translate your impressions into a drawing or painting. Your work can be **abstract** or represent an object, place, or feeling you associate with the scent. No drawing experience is needed - just curiosity and openness to experiment. What to bring: your favorite drawing/watercolor materials and paper. ⚠️ Please note: essential oils will be used during the session - if you have allergies or sensitivities to scents, please take this into consideration before attending.
