Some outdoor activities can also be practiced indoors, and this is why we love to go indoor bouldering whenever we can! Indoor bouldering is a perfect place to start or improve your level safely and with almost no pre-requirements (except for the shoes and maybe some chalk). Whether it’s your first time or you are a bouldering veteran, tag along to have some fun together, meet new people and maybe learn something new. We are no instructors but we’re happy to introduce you to this activity and to share our knowledge with you 🙂 We meet at Minimum Flüela at 6:30 pm, in the restaurant area. I'm really excited to announce our next Meet Up event. It will take place at Core studio in Rennweg Rennweg 12, 8001 Zurich. The is dedicated to everyone who likes the idea of exercising with the music, dancing and learning a bit of ballet. Find out how to set up the a great posture, learn about body conditioning as well as mind & body connection. Unlike at most general adult ballet classes we will show you how exercise with the precision and focus, getting great results. A great class for those who already have little knowledge of ballet or other forms of dance. Our classic Ballet Body Sculpture workout class, including mat exercises, ballet barre, and centre practice. Designed to sculpt and tone a perfect ballet body, as well as stretch, lengthen, and align all muscles for a great posture. You will need to bring a smile, some water and wear comfortable exercise cloths. The class will be 60 minutes which should be more than enough to get those muscles warmed up and you posturised ready for the next session. Join us on our annual mad gallivant around Zürich city in search of the precious pots of Golden Beer. Rumour has it our national Saint will make an appearance this year to lead us on a merry Riverdance around Zürich. There‘ll be rainbows, golden treats and hot chocolate Baileys. Plus the best in Irish souvenirs from BallyBeijing as prizes for the best dressed. So come dressed in your finest green outfits as we spread some Irish cheer - you‘ve 40 shades to choose from - so no excuses. This being a Sunday trail it will coincide with the first Horrors Hash of the year. There’s a playground next to circle location to keep your Horror occupied while we engage in circle shenanigans. **Where**: See location. Typically within Zurich Zone 10. Look for English speakers wearing running gear. **When:** There's a charge of CHF 5 for participating, which covers all you can drink beer/cider (and non-alcoholic alternatives) plus snacks afterwards. **All Welcome:** If you are new, curious, and want to get out of the house, stretch your legs, talk shit, enjoy a drink, and hopefully a laugh, then here's what you need to know: • We are a social running/walking group, physical fitness is not required, but a sense of humour is useful. • The aim is to find the '*Beer Stop*' at the end of the '*trail*' and have fun. • 'True Trail' is typically 4-7 km. Some will go less (especially those walking or walk/running), and some over-achieving fast runners will go further. • The '*Hare*', which changes each event (along with location), cleverly lays the trail (typically with flour marks) so that everyone reaches the end at the same time. • There is always a place to deposit your bag and sometimes a place to change. • **After Trail**, we group for \~20-40 minutes for drinks, snacks, and some fun. This '*Circle*' is typically outside, so leave something warm in your bag in winter (and bring a flashlight when it's dark). If you don't want to stand around drinking afterwards, you can head home. We occasionally all go to a restaurant afterwards. **Why bother leaving your warm & dry sofa?** If you enjoy getting outside, being around people, and doing something a bit different, you will probably enjoy hashing. Exercise is important, and this is probably the least boring way to get it. 'Hashing' and the idea of some physical activity to work up a thirst, have been around for almost 90 years and there are groups (*Hashes*) in most major cities. Its humor and 'traditions' can be explored on the internet - **or you can just come along and find out.** *See you there.* We are of many nationalities, all ages, full of misfits and idiots (at least there is no one taking themselves seriously!) and always welcome newbies 'Virgin Hashers' and visitors from other groups. Guided by an instructor, **families are introduced to basic painting techniques through a series of simple, expressive movements. Each movement is linked to an emotion, and each emotion is connected to a color from the color wheel.** Participants are invited to notice how different emotions feel in the body and how these sensations can be translated into color, rhythm, and gesture. Through guided movement, families physically express emotions before bringing them onto the canvas. They explore questions such as: Does this emotion feel soft or strong? Flowing or sharp? Light or heavy? These embodied experiences then inform how paint is applied, using different techniques, textures, and brushstrokes. Rather than focusing on representation, the workshop emphasizes expression, connection, and curiosity. **Children and adults paint side by side, discovering how colors, shapes, and movements can communicate feelings in different ways.** This shared creative process encourages emotional awareness, empathy, and open communication within the family. **At the end of the workshop, everyone will come together in the chill area to enjoy some snacks.** The organizers will provide fruit platters along with a selection of hot and cold soft drinks.
