This is a regular Bring-Your-Own-Book session, where participants share and present to the group non-fiction books they have read. New members are welcome to attend to listen to and discuss the presentations of others. Usually a meeting takes around 2.5-3 hours. During this time we discuss 2 different books, roughly 1 hour per book. Any non-fiction material: a book, documentary, or lecture or a part of it - anything with a title and an author and that contains some coherent ideas. Each presentation includes a summary of a book (15-40 min) and discussion (accordingly). The meeting will be either in a park or in a coffee shop, on HK side. The exact place to be confirmed with the attendees **by WhatsApp only**. I will / have sent the link to the WhatsApp group, please use the link. Introvert friendly. We have people from different countries, so while books can be in any language, the language of the meeting is English. There is a fee of 20 HKD for the first timers to help funding the Meetup membership needed to run the group. Do not hit "Attend" if you are not going to attend. **Cycling: Tai Wai MTR to Tai Mei Tuk (Plover Dam)** **Difficulty Level:** **2.5 out of 5** **Distance:** **50 km** **Time:** **5-6 hours** **Bike Rental Fee:** **About 80-100 HKD for the Whole Day** **Description:** **This event is "geared" for individuals that enjoy cycling on fully-paved and bike-only paths (no vehicles). The only time we'll be on a surface with vehicles is when we need to cross the streets using the safety strips and the traffic lights. The plan is to cycle from Tai Wai to Plover Dam and back. The roundtrip course is 50 km. Short North Street Skates return Saturday, April 4 and we’re excited to get back rolling together. These weekly rollouts are a chance to move through the city as a group, build community, and create more visibility for skating and small-wheeled movement in Columbus.
