Framed through metaphors and everyday analogies, the talk explores complex security challenges in a fun and memorable way. In the second half, I'll share the story behind an open source tool we built at ING to help teams uncover and understand real-world security issues in their clusters. *Bio:* Lars is a dedicated Cloud and Application Security Engineer with a strong background in the Cloud Native stack. He’s experienced in managing multi-cloud environments, promoting cloud-native practices, and enhancing security measures in software development lifecycles. **Session 2:** **K8s-wish and other LLM adventures (Andrew Yourtchenko)** Can we use LLMs to avoid writing YAML? This talk explores two approaches — a single-shot LLM call and a full agentic loop — using two open source projects, and what each gets right and wrong. *Bio*: After 25 years at Cisco across three lives — TAC Security, IPv6 technical marketing, and high-performance networking software — Andrew is now building open source agentic AI tools and doing occasional consulting. We'll kick off with a quick intro to what a Kubestronaut (and Golden Kubestronaut) actually is, then dive straight into an interactive Q&A. The momentum is building! After two fantastic sessions exploring the heart of the city, it’s time to tackle the legendary "climb" that defines the Brussels 20k experience. Whether you’re chasing a PB or just looking to conquer the course's most famous incline, this is the session you don’t want to miss. For our third preview run, we will do a 14km loop. To make sure those legs are ready for race day, we’ll be taking on the Avenue de Tervuren uphill—not once, but twice. It’s the perfect opportunity to practice your pacing and power on the section that counts the most! The Details: Meeting Point: Right in front of Muski Comics Cafe (near Rond-point Schuman). When: Sunday, April 12th at 09:45 AM. The Route: A 14km loop designed to build strength, featuring a double ascent of the Tervuren incline. Bag Drop: Available. The "Cuppa": We’ll head back to Muski Comics Cafe after the session to refuel with coffee, snacks, and some well-earned recovery chat. The Pace: As always, we are keeping this "steady and social." We will maintain a controlled, inclusive pace of 6:00–6:15 min/km. This session is about building endurance and confidence, not racing the clock.
