Hello Climbers! Just meet at the yellow sign and introduce yourself :) From there we pair up to climb. If we have an odd number of people, we can make a rotating group of 3. There is also a self-belay area if you want to get in more climbing if in a group of 3 or arriving earlier. If the event you are planning to go to only has one or 2 people on the ‘attending’ list, we encourage organising a climbing partner in advance so you can make sure you have at least one other person there to climb with! You will need to pack a lunch for this ride, we will be departing from Yarraville Station where there is an abundance of Melbourne’s best cafes to purchase lunch but you will need to do this before we depart at 10 am. Also, if you would like a coffee before you get on the road you will need to arrive before 10am where you can enjoy the best of Melbourne’s best yummy café coffee and food and then be ready to go at 10 am. We will take Ballarat Street to Stoney Creek reserve then get on the federation and other Western trails which will take us almost continuously to Point Cook Coastal Reserve and Historic Homestead. After lunch and maybe a beach walk to the Eastern tip of Point Cook we will cycle the coastal trail back to Altona. For those who have parked at Yarraville they can catch the train back to Yarraville. At Altona we can get on the train. Point Cook can be windy so bring woolens and an all weather jacket even if there is a forecast for sunny weather. When riding outside suburbia remember that carrying too much water is better than not enough as the distances between water availability may vary greatly from the planned route due to road closures or other unforeseen circumstances. Check Meetup for any changes the day before the ride, as the ride may be cancelled in the event of extreme weather or other unforeseen circumstances. If you cannot make it to the ride please change your RSVP to 'NO' as soon as you know but no later than the day before ride day. When I RSVP for this event/activity I acknowledge that the activity of bicycle riding can be dangerous and that I may suffer loss or injury or death and I agree that in consideration of my participation in any event conducted by the MBTC that I will absolve from liability the MBTC, its officers, and any event organiser from all claims, demands, or suits whether for personal injury or property loss suffered whether by negligence or breach of contract or otherwise, save for any right I may have pursuant to the Australian Consumer law. Dodgeball is back again! If you’ve been wanting to come out, this is an easy one to join. We’ll be playing for about 1.5 to 2 hours, you do not need to bring any equipment, and no experience is needed. We use a specific set of rules and equipment to make the games run better and keep them fun for everybody, not just people who already know how to play. If it rains, the event will be canceled.

It's Our Annual Glow Party on the next Latin City Wednesday. We will provide the glow and you just need to bring yourself and friends to dance to the best selection of Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and Cha Cha. Food and Refreshments will be provided. Join us for a beautiful walk in the park this Tuesday at 7 pm! We will hike two miles through the beautiful landscaped gardens of Inniswood Metro Park. Our trail will be a combo of boardwalks, dirt trails and paved paths winding through the flowers and woods.
