The goal is to provide a clear overview of the techniques, trade-offs, and feasibility boundaries involved in translating legacy codebases into modern Python systems. The attendees will get a realistic understanding of what is possible today, when Python is a good target, and how to reason about migration projects without underestimating their complexity. **Federico Tomassetti, Language Engineering Architect @ Strumenta** Federico Tomassetti is the founder of Strumenta, a company specialized in Language Engineering. Anthropic’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) proposes a universal, bidirectional interface that turns every external system—SQL databases, Slack, Git, web browsers, even your local file‑system—into first‑class “context providers.” In just 30 minutes we’ll step from high‑level buzzwords to hands‑on engineering details: How MCP’s JSON‑RPC message format, streaming channels, and version‑negotiation work under the hood. Most people would agree that a great night's sleep is one of the sweetest experiences in life. Crawling into a wonderfully comfortable bed, drifting off to peaceful slumber, and awaking, feeling refreshed, energized, and ready for the day is a gift everyone welcomes. Unfortunately, nights of perfect sleep and restfulness can seem scarce. Particularly, during the truly hard times in life, good sleep can seem an impossibility. The ancient shepherd-crowned-king, David, knew more than the average person about the challenge of getting a good night's sleep in the midst of being falsely maligned, hunted by enemies, and attacked by those who wanted him dead. He understood the terror of running for his life, and having thousands call for his death. What was his answer? Where could a man on the run find peace? What hope was there for a person in such circumstances? David's hope and peace were found in the One Who he knew was Perfect Truth, Justice, Mercy, and Grace, the God Who had delivered His people before and Who would do so again, and again, and again. Because of God's provision David twice details that even in the midst of his enemies, he would "lie down and sleep, and wake again." Psalm 3 and 4 point us to the hope in which those who follow after the Lord can be confident--that from the Lord comes deliverance.
