Indie Makers Weekly Coworking
Indie Makers Weekly Coworking
**🛑 PLEASE NOTE: This is a private, request-only event. Do not show up at the placeholder map location.** ### **What we do** Welcome to **Hackalona** — a weekly co-working and demo session for independent makers, developers, bootstrappers, and digital entrepreneurs. We gather to work alongside like-minded peers - fellow developers and creators who are all building and launching their own independent projects. This isn't a passive networking event, not a marketing pitch, not a hackathon. ### **Is this for you?** **✅ This is a perfect match if:** * You are an indie hacker, developer, or bootstrap founder actively coding your own SaaS, mobile, or web apps. * You are entirely focused on building, launching, and growing your own independent startup/product. **❌ This is NOT for you if:** * You plan to do only freelance client work or tasks for your primary day job during the session. * You are not a coder/developer (we are a highly technical, hands-on building group). * You don't have a specific project yet or haven't decided what you are working on. ### **The Agenda** * **10:30 - 11:30** \- arrival * **11:30** \- Intros \(a little about yourself \+ what you're working on\) * **13:00** \- Lunch \(if you want\) * **17:00** \- Demos \(share what you made today\) * **18:00** \- Drinks / Events ### **How to attend** To keep our unique vibe and maintain a highly productive atmosphere for everyone, we don't publish the exact venue address here. 1. **Go to our website**: hackalona.com and apply to join our main Telegram group. 2. Once approved, you will receive the exact location and details in Telegram. **Coworking space fee:** The venue/coworking space where we meet charges a flat **€10 day-pass fee** for using their space, internet, and facilities. You will pay this directly to the venue.

🍺 Agentic Coding Meetup — Devs & Drinks
🍺 Agentic Coding Meetup — Devs & Drinks
No slides. No speaker. No agenda. Just developers talking shop over a cold one. This is an informal gathering for engineers, founders, and builders who are deep in the agentic coding trenches — using tools like Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, OpenCode, or rolling their own agent pipelines. Come swap what's actually working, what blew up in production, and what you're excited about right now. We'll be at Barcelona, and the format is simple: show up, grab a drink, and share what you know. Bring a laptop if you want to show something, but it's not required. WhatsApp Group: [https://chat.whatsapp.com/GVS0bHMPIzID3Ch9lt6YsU?mode=gi_t](https://chat.whatsapp.com/GVS0bHMPIzID3Ch9lt6YsU?mode=gi_t) **What we talk about (but not limited to):** \*Agentic coding workflows and tooling * Prompt engineering & context engineering in practice \*Multi-agent architectures and orchestration * AI-native product building \*What's broken in the ecosystem and how you're working around it **Who should come:** Developers, technical founders, and AI engineers who build with (or on top of) LLMs. All levels welcome — senior devs with war stories and curious beginners both make the conversation better. **Format:** Open conversation, round-table style. Everyone teaches, everyone learns.

Extensions allow developers to customize the editor with new features, integrations, and workflow improvements tailored to their needs. In this session, we’ll cover what extensions are and the different types available, including full extensions written in TypeScript or JavaScript, along with lighter-weight extensions such as color themes, language packs, language support, code snippets, and keymaps. We’ll also look at practical reasons a developer might create an extension, from automating repetitive tasks to adding custom tooling. The session includes a hands-on walkthrough of creating a new extension, testing it locally, and understanding the basic project structure. We’ll close with a brief overview of how extensions are packaged and published to the Visual Studio Marketplace and other distribution options. **YouTube Link** TBD

AI Agents 101: How to Make ChatGPT Do Actual Work
AI Agents 101: How to Make ChatGPT Do Actual Work
Most people still use AI like a search box: type one question, get one answer, repeat. But the next step is AI agents: systems that can take a goal, break it into steps, use tools, remember context, and produce useful work for a human to review. In this beginner-friendly session, we’ll demystify what AI agents actually are — without hype or jargon. We’ll walk through practical examples of how agents can help with research, planning, writing, coding, operations, and personal productivity. We’ll cover: * What makes an AI “agent” instead of just a chatbot * How agents break tasks into steps * Where agents are genuinely useful today * Where they fail, hallucinate, or need human review * How to design simple AI workflows for your own work * A live demo of an AI agent-style workflow from start to finish No coding experience required. This is for anyone who wants to understand where AI tools are going and how to use them more effectively right now. LOGISTICS AND PARKING: The talk starts at 7:00 PM. The first half hour is reserved for everyone to get set up and mingle. Free pizza and drinks! The cheapest parking option is to find street parking, which will only cost you a few bucks. Otherwise, park in the nearby veteran's museum lot for $8. It's highly recommended you avoid the nearby $15 garage parking.
