Tyler Hannan, Sr. Director - Developer Advocacy, ClickHouse
**Bio:** Tyler Hannan is an experienced technologist with a passion for human interaction. With a career that has spanned the private and public sectors, large enterprises, consulting, and startups of varying success, he has maintained a focus on data persistence and analysis. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, called on to provide commentary about market trends impacting the design and deployment of database solutions and distributed systems.

It shows why combining event-driven architectures with modern AI turns every interaction into an opportunity for instant insight and automation. Attendees will leave with practical patterns and examples to start unifying their streaming and AI strategies today.
**Bio:** Samuele is a Senior Solutions Engineer specializing in enterprise transformation through real-time, event-driven architectures. He helps organizations migrate from batch-based and legacy systems to modern streaming platforms using Confluent and Apache Kafka. His focus is on Data in Motion, designing scalable solutions that enable real-time intelligence and customer experiences. When he is not at his computer he is soldering electronic kits, tinkering with smaller computers, and drumming on a Taiko.
**Gianluca** is an Enterprise Architect at AWS, where he partners with AWS strategic partners to design and optimize cloud solutions that maximize their business outcomes. With deep expertise spanning cloud computing, networking, and telecommunications, he brings a comprehensive technical perspective to complex architectural challenges. When he's not architecting cloud solutions, you'll likely find him curating photos from his latest adventure, planning the next family expedition, or plotting how to crush a party of adventurers in the next D&D session he's running as a Dungeon Master.

**Abstract**
**Bio**
Extreme programmer, Thoughtworker, trainer, coach and software developer. Deeply interested in what makes teams and companies successful beyond expectations! Any opinion expressed are my own.

Tech Startups in the Pub - Milan (6:30 PM CET)
🍻 **Join Us for Tech Startups in the Pub - Milan Edition!** 🍻
Hey there! 🌟
We'd love for you to join us for our next edition of *Tech Startups in the Pub,* this time in Milan, Italy!
The event is scheduled for **6:30 PM local Italian time**. The platform does not allow us to change the time zone, so we can only create events with the GMT time, thus you will see the invitation for 7:30 PM, but you definitely want to come earlier.
It's a relaxed evening at The O'Connell Irish Pub, and run by Volodymyr. We have been running for 3.5 years in London and we are excited to now run our monthly events in Milan as well, welcoming new folks to the community.
Whether you're a tech founder, an enthusiast, a budding entrepreneur, or simply curious about the tech scene, you'll fit right in. This isn't about panels or pitching, just good old-fashioned networking with like-minded people over a drink on a Thursday evening.
Important information about the location and time. **It is in the ZTL zone**, so please do not come by car. Please use public transport or walk.
**House Rules:**
* Find Volodymyr to introduce yourself so we can welcome you properly. The pub knows we are coming, so you should be able to find us easily.
* No hard selling or heavy pitching. This is a chill, friendly after-work get-together.
* Not drinking? No worries! You're more than welcome to come hang out and enjoy the conversation.
Mark your calendar and come down for some fun tech talk. See you there!

Aperitivo and Hang-out in English
Hello everybody,
I usually look for events on Saturdays but I can hardly ever find any, so I asked myself, "Why don't I organise one ?" The idea is to meet at **Next Bar in Via Crema 7** (Very close to P.ta Romana underground station / yellow line) at **18:00** and hang out there for some time. You can also enjoy drinks and eat for 13 Euros (p.s. the buffet is mind-blowing).
Guests are required to buy their first drink upon entry.
I kindly encourage you to RSVP during the week if you can.
I really hope to meet you on Saturday! Don't worry if you can't see many people who've RSVPed, the event is advertised on other platforms, so there will be plenty of people to mingle with.
When you get there ask for **Riccardo**.
Feel free to WhatsApp me at **+39 334 283 1963**
During the event, you'll have the opportunity to join our WhatsApp group by scanning QR codes displayed on the tables to stay in touch.

From Web Forms to Web Components - Burton Smith
**Important time note:** Please plan on arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 as the elevators lock after 6 and you'll need to message us and we'll need to come get you.
The building address is 4450 Bridge Park
The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400
**Abstract**
Web Forms gave .NET developers a powerful abstraction for building reusable UI controls long before design systems were a thing. Web Components finally bring that same idea to the browser natively.
This session explores how the Web Forms mindset translates into Custom Elements, Shadow DOM, and HTML templates. We’ll examine how Web Components enable design systems that work across frameworks, how they differ from server‑driven controls, and why they’re becoming a foundational layer for modern UI. Whether you’re maintaining legacy apps or building greenfield projects, you’ll leave with a practical understanding of how to apply familiar patterns in a modern, standards‑based way.
