Konnichiwa ! J'organise un atelier de japonais, apprentissage et conversation, **le vendredi 3 avril 2026 à 18h30-20h chez iRASSHAi**, dans son espace café du côté de la Bourse des commerces (et pas du côté de la rue du Louvre). **Cet atelier aura lieu à partir de 3 participants (y compris moi).** Cet atelier sera pour les débutants avancés / intermédiaires, pour vous aider à pratiquer les bases apprises, tout en continuant à apprendre de nouvelles choses (grammaire, vocabulaire, expressions...). Advice for a good moment : ● Leave your ego and mask at home, we are not here to impress anyone but to be ourselves with our strength, weakness, pride and shame. Come with an open/deep/emotional/complex thought and vulnerability. ● Ask open-ended questions and invite the other person to describe what a situation was like for them or how they felt. ● Don't hesitate to be vulnerable and share information about yourself if needed. Consider sharing personal information first to gain the other person's trust. ● Adopt an attitude of curiosity and genuine interest in what the other person is saying. Be thoughtful and try to put yourself in the other person's shoes so that you can see things from their perspective. Be truthful, caring and honest. ● Listen actively and ask follow-up questions. ● Be empathetic and offer emotional validation so that they feel seen and heard. The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change. Unchained At Last's mission clearly meshes and addresses several of our Humanist Ten Commitments. Becca will educate us about an issue many of us may not be familiar with--but should be.
