🎬Movie: Masters of the Universe in IMAX - Food & Drinks after the movie 🍿!
🎬 Let’s Go to the Movies (and Actually Talk… or Not) Whether you're a film nerd, popcorn enthusiast, or just looking for a chill night out with interesting people — this one's for you. We’re heading out to see a movie together, then grabbing food or drinks after. If the film's great (or terrible), we’ll probably talk about it forever. If it’s just okay, we’ll talk about it for 10 minutes and move on to everything else — books, dating apps, weird dreams, how Toronto keeps getting more expensive, etc. The vibe is relaxed, friendly, and not too serious. No film degree needed. No icebreakers. No pressure to “perform.” Just come enjoy the film, connect with some thoughtful people, and see where the night goes Click here to watch trailer! YES! This movie is a little later as I will be having my birthday dinner before hand. After the movie we will head over to the movie. If you can't make dinner but want to join for the movie that would great. 🌊🌿 SCARBOROUGH BLUFFS HIKE & GUILD PARK GARDENS 🌿🌊
🌊🌿 SCARBOROUGH BLUFFS HIKE & GUILD PARK GARDENS 🌿🌊 Cliffside Views, Hidden Gardens & One of Toronto’s Most Beautiful Walks Some parts of Toronto don’t even feel like Toronto. Join us for a scenic hike through the breathtaking Scarborough Bluffs and the artistic beauty of Guild Park and Gardens — a walk that combines nature, history, lake views, and some surprisingly hidden corners of the city. We’ll begin at Guild Park & Gardens, a unique outdoor space filled with historic architectural fragments, sculptures, gardens, and quiet pathways. Once home to artists, creatives, and cultural figures, the park feels almost dreamlike — part gallery, part ruin, part hidden garden. From there, we’ll make our way toward the Scarborough Bluffs and the waterfront trails below. Stretching roughly 15 km along Lake Ontario, the Bluffs are one of Toronto’s most dramatic natural features — towering cliffs formed over 12,000 years ago through erosion and shifting sediment. And honestly? Some of the lake views feel more like cottage country than the city. This is not a formal historical tour. It’s a social hike with beautiful scenery, fresh air, and good conversation. 📲 **Join Our WhatsApp Group:**[ Click here to join](https://chat.whatsapp.com/DRFTkxRlHS4B3IL1lMleUd) *** 🚶‍♂️ What We’ll Do We’ll start by exploring Guild Park & Gardens before making our way along the trails toward the waterfront below the Bluffs. The film follows a washed-up wedding singer, a fading boy band singer and a stolen hit song. Here’s a description, trailer and plan for this event: DESCRIPTION: Rick, a washed-up wedding singer, and Danny, a fading boy band star, bond over music and a late-night jam session. When Danny turns Rick's song into a hit, Rick sets out to reclaim the recognition he believes he deserves. It stars Paul Rudd, Nick Jonas, Peter McDonald, Marcella Plunkett, Havana Rose Liu and Jack Reynor. BUZZ & ACCLAIM: The film premiered to rave reviews at this year’s Dublin International Film Festival where critics call it “a sure-fired crowd-pleaser” that “just might be the feel-good hit of the year!” Others say, “Paul Rudd delivers a career-best performance in this charmer” that’s both “hilarious and deeply moving." The film continues John Carney’s “long run of success with yet another charmer” and “a sharp, hopeful crowd-pleaser that strikes the right notes!” SUMMER OF ICE CREAM, VOL 2: SHAKE NO. 8! The building address is 4450 Bridge Park The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400 You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge. **Abstract** *Customize the IDE: Building Extensions for Visual Studio Code* Visual Studio Code is one of the most widely used development environments today, and much of its flexibility comes from its extension ecosystem. Extensions allow developers to customize the editor with new features, integrations, and workflow improvements tailored to their needs. In this session, we’ll cover what extensions are and the different types available, including full extensions written in TypeScript or JavaScript, along with lighter-weight extensions such as color themes, language packs, language support, code snippets, and keymaps. We’ll also look at practical reasons a developer might create an extension, from automating repetitive tasks to adding custom tooling. The session includes a hands-on walkthrough of creating a new extension, testing it locally, and understanding the basic project structure. We’ll close with a brief overview of how extensions are packaged and published to the Visual Studio Marketplace and other distribution options. **YouTube Link** TBD
