This session explores the remarkable journey of Kubernetes from its early beginnings inside Google to become the world’s dominant container‑orchestration platform. We’ll walk through how Kubernetes evolved from an internal project inspired by Google’s Borg system into a CNCF‑backed open‑source powerhouse that now drives modern cloud‑native infrastructure. If you want to follow along, the demo will be in Azure with GitHub Actions and GitHub Copilot, and you can have it set up on your phone by the end of the session.
