* 19:15-20:00. The Hardest Part of Software Isn't the Code with [Wellyson Freitas](https://www.linkedin.com/in/wellyfrs) (talk in english). * 20:00-21:00. Networking. * [Wellyson Freitas](https://www.linkedin.com/in/wellyfrs) Software engineer with experience building and operating systems in fintech environments such as Revolut and N26, focusing on complex integrations and real-world constraints. Writing code has never been easier, but building the right system is not. Engineers still face challenges like understanding unclear problems, collaborating across teams and organisations, aligning on decisions, and evolving systems under real-world constraints. This talk explores where this complexity comes from in practice and how to navigate it more effectively, focusing on the parts of software engineering that go beyond just writing code. **🏢 Dónde** Fotocasa Group: Ciutat de Granada\, 150\, Planta 9\,

Designing & Building With AI (Beyond the Hype)
**Important:** * Please sign up on the following website to complete your sign up: https://uxdx.com/community/community-barcelona-2026-04-21/ An in-person series of meetups focused on helping product & engineering teams in Copenhagen bridge the gap between UX, Product, Design, and Dev, and to build better products faster, together. **Agenda:** 18:30 - 19:00 Opening and registration 19:00 - 19:15 Welcome from the UXDX Ambassadors and Manychat 19:15 - 19:45 Talk 1: [Glòria Langereo](https://www.linkedin.com/in/glorialangreo/), Senior Design Director at GitHub 19:45 - 20:15 Talk 2: [Greg Kozakiewicz](https://www.linkedin.com/in/gregkozakiewicz/), Director of Design at Oracle 20:15 - 20:45 Closing and networking ## **✨ Talks** **Talk by Glòria Langreo - What Breaks When AI Hits Real Product Workflows** A talk focused on the things that do not work smoothly in practice yet, like undocumented internal APIs, weak documentation, messy systems, and the gap between AI hype and what teams can actually use day to day. **Talk by Greg Kozakiewicz - Fast is Easy. Coherent is Hard.** Ai is making it faster and cheaper to build than ever before but speed without coherence is how products fall apart. This talk explores what actually changes for designers and design leaders when Ai enters the workflow at scale: not the tools, but the judgment, the responsibility, and the systems needed to keep products from fragmenting under velocity pressure. Using design systems as a concrete anchor, the talk makes the case that the designer's role isn't shrinking, it's shifting upstream, toward the decisions that Ai can't make on its own. Practical, honest, and beyond the hype. ## **About UXDX** UXDX helps teams shift from project based delivery to empowered, autonomous product teams. We host global conferences and over 150 free community events each year, bringing together UX, Product, Design and Development practitioners to share how real teams build better products faster.

Before You Build Your App: Make Sure You're Solving the Right Problem
Before You Build Your App: Make Sure You're Solving the Right Problem
👉 🎟️ **Get Your Ticket:** https://bit.ly/product-series- **Overview** From Idea to Product Series #1: A 2-Hour practical workshop to validate your product idea before building your app or SaaS + Networking ### Event Description Every day new apps, SaaS tools and AI products are being built. Technology has made building products easier than ever. But one challenge remains the same: **Many products are built without solving a real problem.** Founders and builders often start with a solution, a feature, or a technology — and only later discover that the problem isn’t as real or important as they thought. This workshop will help you step back and answer one critical question: **Are you actually solving the right problem?** In this interactive session, you’ll learn a simple framework to evaluate your product idea and ensure it is grounded in a real user need. ### What You’ll Learn This workshop is part of the Product Building Series. Together, the three workshops provide a complete path from idea → product scope → product structure, helping you move from concept to a clear and scalable product. In this workshop we will explore: • Why many product ideas fail before reaching the market • The difference between a **solution idea** and a **real problem** • How to identify the right user and the right situation • A simple framework to validate whether your idea solves something meaningful. You’ll see real examples of how small changes in problem definition can completely change a product. ### What You’ll Leave With Participants will complete a **Problem Definition Canvas** for their own product idea. By the end of the workshop you will have: ✔ A clearer definition of the problem your product solves ✔ A better understanding of who your users actually are ✔ A structured Problem Definition Canvas you can use to refine your idea ✔ A practical framework you can apply to future product ideas. ### Who This Workshop Is For This workshop is ideal for: • founders and startup builders • people working on a new app or SaaS idea • indie hackers and makers • early product teams exploring a new product or feature. No technical background is required. ### Workshop Agenda (120 minutes) **1\. Welcome & Introduction** Why validating the problem is the most important step before building. **2\. Why Many Product Ideas Fail** Common mistakes when starting a digital product. **3\. The Problem Validation Framework** A simple structure to identify real user problems. **4\. Real Product Example** How defining the problem changes the product. **5\. Practical Exercise** Use the Problem Definition Canvas to analyse your own idea. **6\. Discussion & Insights** Common discoveries and lessons from the exercise. **7\. Wrap\-Up & Next Steps** ### What to Bring Bring a product idea, feature idea, or startup concept you are exploring. You will apply the framework directly to your own idea during the workshop. ### Format - Interactive workshop - Small group discussion - Practical exercise After the workshop, participants are invited to continue the conversation during an informal **networking session at Sisi Bar on the top floor, where we can share experiences, discuss product ideas, and enjoy the beautiful views over Barcelona together.** 👉 🎟️ **Get Your Ticket:** https://bit.ly/product-series-1

In this talk I share what I've learned from 6 months using Claude Code in real projects: the failure modes nobody talks about (context collapse, token-burning spirals, silent over-reliance), my actual setup and CLAUDE.md, and the principles I now live by. *Benjamin Tarenne, Senior Full Stack Software Engineer building products for Allianz and Claude Code Barcelona community co-organizer.* **AI Mythbusters: Debunking LinkedIn BS** From "AI is going to replace all devs", "AI already thinks" and "AI learns from your chats", to "with a RAG, AI will never hallucinate again" or "APIs are dead, long live MCPs", in this talk we'll do something highly disruptive in the tech industry: revisit some AI basic concepts. We'll go through some of the most persistent myths about artificial intelligence with no doomsaying, no hype, a hint of embarrassment in some cases, and something very old school but effective: evidence. Warning - You might leave with fewer certainties than you came in with. That's exactly the point. *Maite Malavia, Solutions Architect & AI Consultant partner at Zenital and Claude Code Barcelona community co-organizer.* *** **What to expect** This community is being built around solid engineering practices, not vibe coding. We want to explore what it really means to do agentic coding well, and how Claude Code fits into a professional engineering workflow. We have prepared some content around the basics of agentic coding and AI to get the conversation started, but we'd love to hear from you too! 👉 **Interested in presenting something?** If you have a topic, use case, or experience related to Claude Code and engineering practices, we'd love to have you on stage. Drop a comment below or reach out directly! ⚠️ **Spots are limited to 60 people**. We recommend reserving your spot as soon as possible. If you’re unable to attend, please let us know in advance so we can release your seat. Don't miss it! 🎉

**Important time note:** Please plan on arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 as the elevators lock after 6 and you'll need to message us and we'll need to come get you. The building address is 4450 Bridge Park The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400 You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge. **Abstract** GitHub Copilot is powerful, but what if you could scale from a solo AI assistant to an entire team of specialized agents working in parallel? This session introduces Squad: an open-source framework for multi-agent orchestration that lets you define teams of AI agents with specific roles, responsibilities, and expertise. We'll progress from Copilot basics to the Copilot CLI, explore how Agents add autonomy, and see how Instructions and Skills let you customize agent behavior. Then, the climax: a live demo where a Squad team of 3 agents (Lead, Developer, Tester) stands up and builds a working application in real-time, showcasing true multi-agent collaboration. Whether you're new to AI or exploring how to scale your use of Copilot, this session will show you what's possible when agents work as a team. **YouTube Link** TBD

If none, that's cool too. Round 3: * Job opportunities you're hiring for OR announce that you are looking for one. If none, that's cool. After the introduction circle, everything is self-organized! Feel free to work alone, pair up, attend one of our workshops/presentations, or mingle!
