Al municipio de Sasaima se puede llegar por dos vías; la vía del Rosal-Facatativá-Albán-Sasaima o la vía de La Vega-Sasaima. Por la vía del Rosal es más corto, sin embargo, deben pagar un peaje costoso Según la ubicación que se les facilite pueden tomar el bus desde diferentes lugares en Bogotá. A Sasaima se puede llegar por la ruta de la trece, calle 80, terminal central Salitre, y Chía. -Desde calle 13 (Fontibón), pueden tomar un bus que los lleve hasta Facatativá y en este punto solicitan al conductor que los deje en el semáforo de la calle primera, y preguntan donde pueden tomar un bus que vaya para Villeta (Sasaima es antes de Villeta); solicitan al conductor que los deje en la segunda entrada de Sasaima. -Desde calle 80, pueden tomar un bus que los lleve directamente a Villeta y de Villeta a Sasaima . La otra opción es calle 80-El Rosal-Facatativá-Alban-Sasaima, y se bajan en la segunda entrada de Sasaima. -Desde el terminal central de Salitre, pueden tomar un bus que vaya directamente hacía Sasaima o hacía Facatativá y luego Sasaima. -Desde la estación de trasmilenio Américas Cra 53A, se bajan hacía el lado donde hay una bomba de gasolina; caminan hasta la esquina de la bomba y en este punto pueden tomar buses hacía Facatativá directo preferiblemente. Si toman directo, es mucho más rápido. -Desde Chía pueden tomar un bus que vaya hasta Facatativá, aunque este bus es demorado debido a que para en varios lugares. Cuando se bajen en la segunda entrada de Sasaima, deben caminar aproximadamente dos cuadras hacía arriba hasta encontrar el parque principal de Sasaima, aquí en este punto ubican una ceiba gigante que esta encerrada (punto de encuentro). El pasaje en total puede costar aproximadamente 13,000, pero depende desde donde se tome el bus. En el recorrido se puede conocer el sendero panche que tiene una extensión de 1000 metros y en el se encuentran estalacmitas,estalactitas y un bosque húmedo tropical de ladera que nunca ha sido intervenido por el hombre. Luego encontramos la cueva del Indio donde se puede practicar espeleología (el estudio de las cuevas y sus ecosistemas). Y por último, conocer la cascada de San Luis que tiene 25 metros de altura. Recomendaciones. Traer ropa de cambio, gorra, zapatos cerrados de buen agarre, bloqueador solar, papeles personales tales como documento de identidad y seguro al que se encuentra afiliado. *La actividad incluye un kit de hidratación, acompañamiento de guías turísticos, seguro de caminantes y pago de peajes por fincas privadas.

Luego encontramos la cueva del Indio donde se puede practicar espeleología (el estudio de las cuevas y sus ecosistemas). Y por último, conocer la cascada de San Luis que tiene 25 metros de altura. Recomendaciones. **History** [Blacklick Woods Metro Park](https://www.metroparks.net/parks-and-trails/blacklick-woods/), established in 1949, holds the distinction of being the first Columbus Metro Park. Its creation stemmed from a post-World War II push to preserve natural areas amid rapid suburban growth. The land, originally farmland and woodlots along Blacklick Creek, was acquired by the Columbus Metropolitan Park Board through donations and purchases. Early efforts focused on basic trail development and reforestation to combat erosion. The park's name derives from the creek, which early settlers called "Black Lick" due to its dark, mineral-rich waters. By the 1950s, it served as a model for the expanding Metro Parks system. In the 1960s, Blacklick Woods expanded significantly with additional land acquisitions, reaching over 600 acres. A golf course was added in 1964, one of the first public courses in the region, designed to generate revenue for park maintenance. Native American artifacts, including arrowheads from the Adena culture, were discovered during construction, highlighting the area's prehistoric use as hunting grounds. The park introduced interpretive programs to educate visitors on local ecology and history. Flood control measures along the creek became a priority after heavy rains caused damage. There are restrooms here next to the Canopy Walk. We'll meet near these restrooms.
