Bonjour à toutes et à tous, Je vous propose de m'accompagner à la soirée jeux organisé par l'association des Joueurs Anonymes aux Grands Gamins. Tous les types de jeux y sont proposés en partant du petit jeu d'ambiance de 10 minutes au gros jeu de plateau durant 1h30-2h. Le principe est simple : * Etant dans un bar à jeux, nous trouverons un grand choix de jeux sur place. * La sortie est ouverte aussi bien aux joueurs confirmés qu'aux joueurs débutants qui sont accueillis au mieux pour leur faire découvrir la passion du jeu. * Des frais d'entrée au Grands Gamins qui s'élèvent à 5€ (frais d'entrée demandés par le bar et non par l'association pour l'accès aux jeux et leurs explications)puis, une consommation régulière. La soirée débute à 19H00 et jusqu'à 23h30 (heure de fermeture du bar), donc vous pouvez arriver en retard, ce n'est pas très grave.

L’artiste sera présent pour discuter avec vous de ses peintures votives politiques et montrer des extraits de son film-essai sur le thème de la dissidence en Chine et dans le monde. - Hu Jiamin est un artiste d’origine chinoise basé à Lyon travaillant à la fois la peinture et la vidéo. Il commence sa pratique artistique dans un village de la province du Yunnan, cette expérience dans la Chine rurale influençant profondément l’importance qu’il porte à la responsabilité sociale des artistes. En 2017, la censure et la destruction de sa peinture murale à Shenzhen et sa détention lors de la Biennale d’Urbanisme et d’Architecture de Shenzhen et Hong Kong l’amènent à réfléchir à la relation entre art et dissidence. Ses œuvres expriment la façon dont l’histoire globalisée s’incarne dans nos existences, dépeignant la tension entre la simplicité et la fragilité de la vie quotidienne et l’inexorabilité des forces politiques qui la sous-tendent. Si c'est votre toute première partie, je recommanderais tout de même de venir d'abord à une de nos sessions pour joueur(se)s débutant(e)s: nous y expliquons les règles en détails. **Soirée enquête, bluff et intrigues aux Caves Alliées.** Venez (re)découvrir cette petite pépite du jeu d'intrigue qu'est Blood on the Clocktower, à mi-chemin entre un loup-garou et une murder mystery: incarnez le temps d'un soir un des habitants du village de Ravenswood Bluff, et enquêtez, bluffez, collaborez avec les autres joueurs pour faire la lumière sur la malédiction qui ronge le village de l'intérieur. Ou jouez pour le camp du mal, et avancez dans l'ombre pour semer le doute et la discorde parmi vos concitoyens. * Soirée Trouble Brewing. Bonjour à tous et à toutes ! Evolution du groupe: On fait des game jams mensuelles maintenant ! Pour ceux pas au courant, ça veut dire qu'on crée un jeu par mois le temps d'un week-end (vendredi soir -> dimanche soir). DONC je vous propose de nous retrouver chez moi (appart 43m2 dans le 17e) pour qu'on puisse créer ensemble le jeu de ce mois-ci ! Les règles pour choix du thème etc. changent chaque jam mais on penche plutôt pour que chacun écrive un mot par catégorie (e.g. thème, genre du jeu, direction artistique, etc.) et on tirera chaque catégorie au hasard au début de la jam ! Head out to FANGs 2nd annual board game garage sale! **We will have multiple sellers and hundreds of games!** We're selling games from 5pm - 8pm. Swing into the event room on the first floor and pick up some great "new to you" games. Grab a beer while you're there and tip our bar tender friends Seventh Son has a small parking lot & street parking is free on Sundays. They will also have a food truck. You can play your games in the Sun Room (up stairs) or at the tables in the main bar.

The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area. Parking can be challenging. There is a parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.

Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations. 
We started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that. We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus. 
Feel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn. 
Here are just a few examples of the kind of games we play. 
Tabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wonders… 
Social deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewords… 
IMPORTANT: 
1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for. 
2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you haven’t come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.
