Based off of Jeet kune do we just continued where Bruce Lee left off. \
We have been around a while. \

Every week we get together and work technical skills and live pressure testing. \
Almost all of the instructors have been in everything from altercations in the real world to the ring and some still compete in the cage. \
If you want to take your skills up, improve your confidence, gain self defense skills, get in better shape, test yourself or just want to kill some time and possibly get hit a bit come on down. \
We will be located at 3923 N High St, Columbus, OH 43214 inside the whetstone rec center in the auditorium, upstairs in classroom B or outside in the grass between the playground and horseshoe area. our instructors are normally in a black and red art of fighting shirt \ if you can not find us call or text me at 6143570295

Join us for an hour of writing! Weāve discovered that itās strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if itās true for you at noon on Sundays.
Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.

Join us for something different as we get together to see EPIC: ELVIS PRESLEY IN CONCERT! While researching his 2022 film, director Bas Luhrmann came across and compiled rare and previously unseen interviews and videos of Elvis in concert to create āone of the most exciting concert films youāve ever seen!ā Here are details, a trailer and our plan for this event:
DESCRIPTION: Part documentary, part concert film, the latest from director Bas Luhrmann is a follow-up to his 2022 film starring Austin Butler. While researching the film, he came across 68 boxes of previously unseen interviews, concert performances and outtakes from previous films. A combination of offstage and onstage Elvis, comes a film that ābefits the magnitude of Elvis as a performer but also offers deeper revelations of his humanity and inner life." WHAT IS CONTRA DANCING? Picture the Grand Ball scenes like youāve seen in period films such as āPride and Prejudiceā, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. Thatās English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like āswing your partnerā and ādo-si-do,ā like youāve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alĆ” āRiverdance.ā Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THATās Contra Dancing!
Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor.
Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 7:30 - 8:00, followed by dancing 8:00 - 10:30. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner.

CMG Gives Back - March: Serve Brunch at FAITH MISSION GRANT KITCHEN!
Join us as we get together to get together to help those in need at this CMG Gives Back event! For this event, weāll help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents, wash dishes and clean surfaces at Fath Mission ā Grant Kitchen. We have a great little community of Movie Group friends so rather than see a movie this time, weāll help āCreate a better worldā by helping serve those in need. Here are complete details and our plan for this event:
FAITH MISSION ā GRANT KITCHEN: The Faith Mission kitchen and dining room serves residents 3 meals a day, every day of the year. Our group will help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean surfaces.
PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for BRUNCH from 10:30am to 12:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 10:15am and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.
LOCATION: Faith Mission ā Grant Kitchen is located at 245 N. Grant Ave. Enter the kitchen at Dock 1, indicated in the attached map. On-site and street parking are available in the surrounding area. Below are some links / attachments with additional info/details:

Walk & Talk About Life's Big Questions
