There are no rules, no pressure — **just bring your own materials**, draw whatever you feel like, and enjoy the company of fellow creatives. Curso de Filosofía de la ecología humana Las raíces de la transformación humana ¿Qué entendemos por transformaciòn humana? ¿Qué significa transformación radical? ¿Qué posibilidades tenemos los seres humanos de transformarnos y en qué sentido podemos hacerlo de forma radical? El curso de filosofía de la ecología humana pretende responder a estas y otras preguntas, planteando a los participantes nuevas e importantes cuestiones sobre nuestras posibilidades reales e impensadas de autotransformación. Será un recorrido crítico y problemático por algunas de las teorías, ideas y filosofías contemporáneas más relevantes que han puesto de relieve la importancia de la transformación radical, en una época de grandes cambios científicos, políticos y sociales. Acompañados por el filósofo Emanuele Profumi, el curso se desarrollará siguiendo una evolución argumentativa precisa, permitiendo a quienes tienen una formación filosófica enriquecer su bagaje de conocimientos y cuestiones que profundizar, y a quienes no tienen formación filosófica orientarse y pensar gracias a la filosofía, descubriendo sorprendentes formas de pensar nuestra condición humana y nuestras posibilidades como seres humanos. Hola a tod@s, Cómo os comenté, este mes y de forma excepcional haremos dos charlas mensuales con temas diferentes En esta ocasión YO realizaré la charla. Os invito a que conozcamos más de cerca la figura de Joan March, un personaje que me toca de cerca ya que yo también soy mallorquín. OJO es un charla que ya hice el año pasado quizá algunos ya vinisteis. March es conocido por ser el financiador del golpe de Estado que acabó con la República en 1936, pero Joan March fue mucho más que eso: EMPRESARIO de éxito (Fundó la transmediterránea) y BANQUERO (Banca March), fue también CONTRABANDISTA, POLIÍTICO, PRESO y hasta FUGADO. En esta charla descubriremos como March, nacido en un pequeño pueblo del interior de Mallorca acabó siendo uno de los hombres más ricos del mundo. Conoceremos la rocambolesca biografía de un personaje que logró abrirse camino gracias a su indiscutible inteligencia, pero también a su total falta de escrúpulos. **Hello everyone!** This Saturday, March 21st, the MNAC is opening its doors, so… let's go visit the National Museum of Art of Catalonia! The museum is located right in front of the Montjuïc fountains. You can get there on foot from Plaça Espanya along Avinguda Maria Cristina, passing by the fountains and climbing the stairs up to the entrance, or take Bus 55, which drops you off just a 3-minute walk from the museum. **We'll meet at 4:00 PM outside, in front of the souvenir shop on the right side of the entrance.** Although the ground floor has spectacular rooms dedicated to Romanesque Medieval, Gothic Medieval, and Renaissance and Baroque art, seeing it all in a single afternoon would be mission impossible — so this Saturday we'll head straight up to the first floor to discover Modern Art together. Before diving into the galleries, we'll make a special stop at the Dome Hall. There we'll see the large mural that Joan Miró painted in 1978, commissioned by IBM for their Barcelona headquarters. And right across from it, we'll find the sculpture *Couple of Lovers with the Play of Almond Blossom*, the preparatory model for the large sculpture Miró created for the modern La Défense district in Paris, unveiled that same year. From there, we'll explore the Modern Art rooms at our own pace. ES ¡Hola a todos! Este sábado 21 de marzo el MNAC abre sus puertas, así que… ¡vamos a visitar el Museo Nacional de Arte de Cataluña! El museo está ubicado justo enfrente de las fuentes de Montjuïc. Puedes llegar andando desde la Plaça Espanya por la Avinguda Maria Cristina, pasando por las fuentes y subiendo las escaleras hasta la entrada, o en el Bus 55, que te deja a tan solo 3 minutos a pie del museo. **Nos encontramos a las 16:00 h en el exterior, delante de la tienda de souvenirs que hay a la derecha de la entrada.** Aunque en la planta baja hay salas espectaculares de arte Medieval Románico, Medieval Gótico, y Renacimiento y Barroco, visitarlo todo en una sola tarde sería misión imposible, así que este sábado subiremos directamente a la primera planta para descubrir juntos el Arte Moderno. Antes de adentrarnos en las salas, haremos una parada especial en la sala de la Cúpula. Allí veremos el gran mural que Joan Miró pintó en 1978 por encargo de IBM para su sede en Barcelona. Y justo enfrente, nos encontraremos con la escultura *Pareja de enamorados de los juegos de flores de almendro*, la maqueta preparatoria de la gran escultura que Miró creó para el moderno barrio de La Défense en París, inaugurada ese mismo año. A partir de ahí, recorreremos juntos las salas del Arte Moderno a nuestro ritmo. Hi pots arribar a peu des de la Plaça Espanya per l'Avinguda Maria Cristina, passant per les fonts i pujant les escales fins a l'entrada, o amb l'autobús 55, que et deixa a tan sols 3 minuts a peu del museu. **Ens trobem a les 16:00 h a l'exterior, davant de la botiga de souvenirs que hi ha a la dreta de l'entrada.** Encara que a la planta baixa hi ha sales espectaculars d'art Medieval Romànic, Medieval Gòtic, i Renaixement i Barroc, visitar-ho tot en una sola tarda seria missió impossible, així que aquest dissabte pujarem directament al primer pis per descobrir junts l'Art Modern. Abans d'endinsar-nos a les sales, farem una aturada especial a la sala de la Cúpula. Allà veurem el gran mural que Joan Miró va pintar el 1978 per encàrrec d'IBM per a la seva seu a Barcelona. I just davant, ens trobarem amb l'escultura *Parella d'enamorats dels jocs de flors d'ametller*, la maqueta preparatòria de la gran escultura que Miró va crear per al modern barri de La Défense a París, inaugurada aquell mateix any. A partir d'aquí, recorrerem junts les sales de l'Art Modern al nostre ritme. This month we will be discussing **Frank Santoro**, an American cartoonist, painter, and comics critic known for his expressive lines, experimental page layouts, and vibrant use of color. His graphic novels—including *Storeyville*, *Pompeii*, and *Pittsburgh*—blend personal storytelling with innovative visual structure, often exploring memory, place, and relationships. In addition to his comics, Santoro has been an influential voice in comics education and criticism, co-founding the magazine *ComicsComics* and creating the **Santoro Correspondence Course for Comic Book Makers**, which has helped train and inspire a new generation of cartoonists. Afterwards, we will have time to work on our individual art projects, hang out, and if anyone is interested in feedback on their work, there will be time for that as well.

The topic for March is "Our Bodies, Ourselves" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome. This is a group for like minded people interested in understanding, leveraging, using, creating for, profiting from, trading too i suppose, NFT's.. everything around them, complexity, fear and exploits, best practices and more. **PLUS** This group will talk AI ART tools, techniques, artists, video, audio, prototypes and more in the AI assisted production space- ART specifically, but we can get into any aspect of some of the cooler things happening in AI in general.

So this month's prompt is more general. I think we can all agree that we are living in "unique" times that require coping skills. I think that one role and/or purpose of philosophy is to help us deal with our daily lives and our "unique" times. So, let's share our feelings and thoughts about which philosopher/philosophy we turn to in order to deal with our crazy events. Who/what helps you stay focused in your daily life and helps you sleep at night. I find that Stoicism with a little philosophical pessimism mixed in goes a long way in helping me deal with what I see as very destructive, fearful and mean spirited public policies at both the state and federal levels.
