**¿Buscas un espacio para crear, soltarte y conectar contigo mismo sin expectativas?** En este taller de creatividad con barro sensorial utilizamos herramientas interdisciplinarias como movimiento, mindfulness, imágenes, experimentación con materiales, etc., para tener una experiencia creativa encarnada. Nos reunimos 2 horas cada dos semanas. Un espacio para explorar sin juicios y despertar tu expresión más auténtica. Aquí no venimos a enseñarte a hacer piezas perfectas; te acompañamos para que la creatividad salga de tu propio cuerpo. Usamos métodos sencillos pero poco convencionales. El objetivo no es "fabricar" algo bonito, sino experimentar y sentir lo que surja. **¿Cómo funciona?** Cada taller es un módulo independiente con una ruta diferente. A veces nos movemos, otras meditamos, y otras creamos un campo de juego. Además del barro, exploramos pintura, instalación efímera o escritura. Cada persona encuentra su propio camino para conectar con lo que realmente quiere expresar. Creamos un círculo entre tú y tu creación. Tú eres el creador y el observador. Estás creando tu obra, pero al mismo tiempo la obra te está creando a ti. **¿Es para ti?** Si algo de esto te resuena, no necesitas experiencia previa. Hola a tod@s, Continuamos con nuestras charlas mensuales en el café La Opera. En esta ocasión yo mismo realizaré la charla. Para los que no me conocéis soy Doctor en historia contemporánea por la UB y fundador de este grupo de meet up. ¿Sabías que la ley de vagos y maleantes en la que se apoyó la dictadura franquista para reprimir la homosexualidad era una ley aprobada por el gobierno de izquierdas de la II República? En esta charla exploraremos la represión de la homosexualidad durante el franquismo. Conoceremos el armazón ideológico-legislativo que enmarcó dicha represión. ¿Sabías que existieron colonias agrícolas donde estas personas eran aisladas y sometidas a trabajos forzados? Desde 1954, el régimen franquista convirtió a los homosexuales en “enemigos” legales. En esta charla analizaremos los argumentos pseudocientíficos en los que la dictadura se apoyó para justificar esta persecución. Buenas de nuevo, gatos curiosos! En esta nueva propuesta para el 18 de abril, **os propongo que nos traslademos a la población de Vilassar de Mar, a escasa media hora de Barcelona, para hacer la ruta de los indianos**, recorriendo varias casas de Vilassar de Mar que procedieron de fortunas hechas en tierras americanas. Además de contemplar las fachadas de estas bonitas fincas, **visitaremos de forma libre la gliptoteca Museu de Vilassar de Enric Monjo,** un escultor español de referencia en este tipo de arte y oriundo de Vilassar. **También visitaremos el museu de la Mina Vella.** **Puesto que los museos cierran a las dos de la tarde. Primero visitaremos los museos y luego realizamos la ruta indiana.** **La ruta la guiaré yo ( de forma gratuita) y las entradas a los dos museos son gratuitas también.Sólo se deberá pagar los gastos del transporte de Rodalies Renfe y la comida del mediodía quien se quede a comer. ## Acerca del evento Un espacio para encontrarnos, soltar el control y dejar que la creatividad fluya sin expectativas ni juicios. Sin expectativa y con conexión Sin control y con flujo Sin prejuicio y con creatividad *Querida mujer,* Te invito a un espacio creado con mucho cariño para que, desde la calma y el movimiento, nos demos permiso de volver a mirarnos con ojos nuevos. Ojos inocentes, como cuando todo era descubrimiento. Porque a veces, para encontrarnos de verdad, necesitamos primero soltar lo que nos ha ido moldeando desde fuera. Eso es la “ex-formación”: desaprender para volver a nuestra esencia. En este círculo, nos reencontraremos con nuestro cuerpo como templo. A través del movimiento consciente, nos conectaremos con palabras, imágenes o versos que cada una traiga (un diario, una poesía que resuene), permitiendo que aflore una imagen de nosotras mismas que nace desde dentro, no desde lo que nos han dicho. A lo largo de la experiencia, daremos espacio a procesos creativos con materiales de bellas artes, donde cada mujer podrá expresar de forma íntima lo que va emergiendo. También conectaremos con la tierra a través del barro, creando con nuestras manos una pieza que luego será cocida, como un símbolo de lo que estamos transformando. Terminaremos compartiendo en círculo, con el corazón abierto, para escucharnos y celebrar lo vivido. The topic for April is "Water" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome. This month's prompt concerns the idea of the “warrior philosopher” (seemed appropriate in these times)--that is someone whose understanding of violence, power, and justice is forged through direct experience of war. We are looking at Major General Smedley D. Butler, a highly decorated U.S. Marine raised in a Quaker (pacifist) tradition who later became a prominent critic of American militarism (there is a wonderful biography of Gen. Butler called "Gangsters of Capitalism") Butler's argument in *War Is a Racket* (1935): that many U.S. interventions were driven less by national defense than by corporate and financial interests, with Butler portraying himself as an enforcer for business and Wall Street. We can consider the moral ambiguity of his insider critique—whether complicity strengthens or undermines credibility and also consider some of the concrete reforms he proposed (e.g., “conscript” capital before soldiers, restrict the military to coastal defense, and have only those who fight decide on war). Butler’s life arc clearly changed from pacifist upbringing to warrior to antiwar crusader—and asks whether true understanding of peace requires firsthand knowledge of war, and what that implies about the cost of suffering. So do we need to suffer to understand suffering? Do we have to experience war to appreciate peace? As one more question: in the movie "A Few Good Men" Jack Nicholson's character says that "you have the luxury of not knowing what I know" so do most of us go through life oblivious to real violence and suffering?
