Each session combines sequences of postures (asanas) with mindful breathing, building strength, flexibility, and balance. Whether you’re a beginner or have experience, this class will help you: improve mobility and posture, increase core strength and stamina, release tension and stress and connect breath with movement for mindfulness. Expect a thoughtful warm-up, flowing sequences, and a calming cooldown to restore energy. Sound bowls deepen relaxation in Shavasana with calming, healing vibrations. This Vinyasa-based practice is designed to challenge and energize you, while always honouring the individual needs and limits of your body. Expect strong, flowing sequences that build strength, balance and flexibility, woven together with breath and presence. A \~2 hours watercolor, gouache or tempera painting lesson. **About this course** The total watercolor, gouache or tempera course consists of around 30 lessons that last 2 hours each. You can join at any time during the course. At the start of the event you choose which material you will use. The lessons will happen almost every Tuesday at 19:00-21:00 in Berlin. This course is aimed at introducing the painting process with watercolor, gouache or tempera as the main medium. These lessons cover the various techniques and methodologies. Communicative, collaborative and creative drawing sessions. Participants draw a central still-life that the group can create themselves until the music track finishes and then pass it to the person on their left. The drawings change hands 3 to 5 times and the end results are always inspiring. After the collaborative warm-up participants can work individually on printing techniques, Mono -printing, tetra-pack or gelli. -printing. Feel free to try out a process that you are unfamiliar with. Everyone is welcome from Python beginners to experts. Bringing a laptop is encouraged (we'll have extension cords and power strips). Broad St., Columbus 43215** WHAT IS CONTRA DANCING? Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor.
