A \~2 hours watercolor - gouache painting lesson. **About this course** The total watercolor, gouache course consists of around 30 lessons that last 2 hours each. You can join at any time during the course. At the start of the event you choose which material you will use. The lessons will happen almost every Tuesday at 19:00-21:00 in Berlin. This course is aimed at introducing the painting process with watercolor, gouache as the main medium. These lessons cover the various techniques and methodologies. It is suitable for beginners and or even professionals who want to rationalize the painting process. We'll start off the session with a run in Gleisdreieck park that might include scaling some walls, visiting a few sites in the area to explore their opportunities for climbing and balancing, or going up or down stairs in unusual ways. After the outdoors bit, we come back to our gym where we focus on building strength, working as a group, and learning basic martial arts techniques. We are a small, accessible, mixed-gender, queer-friendly group open to anyone, without any prior knowledge or specific degree of fitness required. Our martial art is Jutaijutsu, a traditional Japanese one focused on self-defence. Sounds interesting? We'd love for you to drop by and join us. You'll need running shoes and comfortable workout clothes, including a raincoat or the like for the park if the weather is bad. Once indoors, we train barefoot. The myth of the "starving artist" or the "solitary genius" is a trap that keeps cultural workers in a constant state of precarity. But what if we could design our projects differently? What if we could build cultural businesses based on solidarity, cooperation, and radical sustainability? Join us on May 27th for an interactive, hands-on workshop co-hosted by ODBK and Travelling U. Bianca Dakli’s paintings depict nocturnal scenes of inner landscapes. She draws her inspiration primarily from the sky, the moon, the sea, and its unpredictability. She seeks openness, freedom, and new possibilities. Her works invite viewers to encounter an often challenging external world with curiosity and openness, rather than with fear. Having spent her entire life in chaotic metropolises, she views painting as a gateway to a world entirely distinct from the material and hectic struggles of daily life. Through her paintings, Dakli aims to open up spaces of freedom that foster tranquility and offer time for reflection. Dakli has lived in Berlin since 2013 and works as a freelance artist in the fields of dance and performance. For several years now, she has focused primarily on acrylic painting and has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions.

Weisheimer Road, Columbus, OH 43214.** **Cost is $10 for adults, $5 ages 12-25.** **New to dancing? A beginners’ session, from 1:30 to 2:00 PM, will get you started. You will learn some basic figures that will be repeated in the afternoon’s dances. All dances will be taught and no partner is needed. Join us at Wyandotte Winery for an **America 250–Ohio Homecoming Picnic as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States in true Ohio style!** Throughout July 2026, communities across Ohio are gathering for food, fun, and friendship to honor our nation’s history and reflect on the contributions of Ohioans over the past 250 years. Our picnic will feature a relaxed atmosphere with food, music, and opportunities to connect with friends. *BRING*: Guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy an afternoon of community celebration. *FREE EVENT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC*: Food and beverages will be available for purchase from the shop and food trucks. *PARKING*: limited near the wine shop. Most park one block away in the church parking lot.
