We're a group of writers that meets up every Sunday for a productive writing session. **Here's how the meetup works:** * We gather together, grab some fika, and then we write for an hour. * After the hour is up, we spend some time chatting, sharing ideas and thoughts on writing, and discussing the challenges we've come across. The goal is to **commit to working on your writing project for a set amount of time, all while** **connecting with other writers** and being motivated by the energy of creative minds working hard on their individual projects. As the first meetup occured to be a great success! (nobody came👀) I am happily announce our second one! (our the first one attempt #2👀). This time location is shared in the very begging and time choice is slightly randomized to a different one. Everything else is bound to remain the same as I am unable to identify any flaws you see :). Come and vibe AI Safety or even network!!😊 Some fancy description: We’re living through something comparable to the Industrial Revolution — except this time, the machines don’t just replace muscle, they try to replicate cognition. This group is for people in Malmö who want to calmly and seriously discuss AI safety: how advanced AI systems might impact society, work, power, and long-term human wellbeing — and what can be done to steer development in a beneficial direction. The meetup is informal and discussion-based. We’ll talk about current AI systems, near-future risks, ethical questions, governance, and technical safety ideas — always with an emphasis on critical thinking rather than hype or fear. You don’t need to be an AI expert. Students, researchers, professionals, and curious non-technical people are all welcome. If you’re interested in understanding AI beyond headlines — and want to think together with others — this meetup is for you. Fun and nice atmosphere included.
