Join DC Metro Crafts for the first 2026 meetup! We'll be at Quill and Crumbs, the cafe at the Shakespeare Folger Library. The Shakespeare Folger Library is about 3 blocks from the Capitol South metro. Head up First as you get out of the station, pass the Library of Congress and the Capitol, turn right on East Capitol, and the Folger is on the right. The entrance is around the side, not through the front of the building. The cafe is upstairs. Bring your own cross stitch, knitting, crochet, or other portable craft. We'll be in the back at the group tables.

Come Craft with us. Don't let the lack of RSVPs stop you, they aren't required, nor is membership to our group. Bring your project and join a boisterous group of crafters in the Cafe on first floor. This glass surrounded space is climate controlled and has the most beautiful light for crafting.

*Please Note: This venue has stairs and is not handicap accessible.* Why craft alone when you can enjoy the company of others who LOVE crafting/"arting" as much as you do! Let's get together virtually! We can chat, show off our current projects, and get some support from our fellow yarn addicts. I have set up a Zoom meeting that anyone with a computer (phones count) with the free Zoom app can access. By Saturday, I will send a meeting ID to all attendees through meetup.

Let's spend an afternoon at the new Moongate Cafe at the National Museum of Asian Art! You can enjoy the cafe or explore the museum and draw from the wonderful exhibits there.
