Quello che ci aspetta è un percorso molto suggestivo nei dintorni del Lago di Iseo. Tale percorso ci porterà a Nistisino, caratteristico borgo immerso in paesaggi collinari ricchi di biodiversità, boschi di castagni, faggi e querce. **Are you ready for the Milano–Cortina Winter Olympics? We’re not.** **That’s why we’ve created our very own Ostello Bello "Olympic" Games: a glorious display of questionable athletic skills and high-level nonsense.** While the "other" guys are busy with the official **Milano-Cortina 2026** ceremonies, we’re bringing the real "action" to the streets of Milan. From February 6th, we aren't gathering to break world records; we’re gathering to break the laws of physics. This isn’t about the podium; it’s about the survival of the chillest. Get your "winter" gear ready, because we’re about to prove that being an elite athlete is 10% talent and 90% just showing up for the vibes. **The Incentive:** Every participant gets a **shot**. The "legends" who actually win take home an **Ostello Bello T-shirt or a Drink**. ## The Disciplines: Official "Technical" Standards Every day from **7 PM to 9 PM**, our "athletes" will face a rotating schedule of these elite winter disciplines: ### 1\. Air Hockey: The Wrist\-Flick Battle A high-speed duel where the only thing frozen is your gaze on the puck. * **The Goal:** Smash the plastic disc into the hole. * **Requirement:** Move your hand faster than your brain can process and celebrate every point like you’ve just secured a gold medal. ### 2\. Boxing\-Glove Beer Pong: The Clumsy Champion Challenge We took a classic and made it impossible by adding the "Yeti factor." * **The Twist:** You have to play wearing massive, padded boxing gloves. * **The Challenge:** Gripping a tiny ball with giant hands is the ultimate test of patience. Success here is statistically unlikely and basically a miracle. ### 3\. DIY Curling: The Professional Slide The most serious-looking sport in our program. We’ve replaced expensive stones with pots and ice with felt pads, but the tension is real. * **The Setup:** A "House" (target) taped on the floor and a "Hog Line" for the release. * **The Action:** Launch the pot while your teammates run alongside it with brooms, screaming *"Hurry! Hard!"* just like in the real tournaments. * **The Score:** Closest pot to the center wins. Clean floors are a bonus. ### BONUS DAY: The "Wildcard" Game The discipline is a mystery. Ciao a tutt\*! Let's meet Monday at 6.30pm at the Upper Arlington Library (**Tremont** Branch) in **Meeting Room A** to speak in Italian for 1 hour. Keeping Monday for consistency but we can discuss if there are better days/times/locations!

The topic for March is "Our Bodies, Ourselves" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome. We thought of one of the interesting things that can be enjoyed at this time of the year. We will be meeting at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for a "Fish Fry" in Marian Hall on Friday, March 27th at 5:00 PM. It might be fun for you to experience what has become a tradition on the Fridays before Easter. They will have fried fish or baked fish, French fries and Cole slaw, as well as beverages, all for $16.00 for adults. They will have other beverages and desserts available for sale, as well. We have never tried this, and sometimes there are quite a few people at these events so we hope that we will be able to find each other easily. I'll try to have signs outside Marian Hall that Identify our group. We hope to have you join us!
