As part of the London Festival of Architecture, we are hosting a Stained Glass workshop led by stained glass expert Roger Hands, who has been running his his own stained glass studio in Haringey for the past 15 years. Roger will discuss the Chapel’s unique windows by Edward Burne-Jones, William Morris, and Henry Holiday, while explaining the entire process of creating stained glass windows from start to finish including some history about this ancient craft which dates back to the 3rd century. . Participants will also have the opportunity to create their own designs using cardboard and colouring materials. This hands-on session offers a chance to experiment with colour, pattern, light, and storytelling, while exploring how this ancient craft continues to inspire artists and designers today.
