**Insight Circle** Connect deeply, developing greater intimacy, with yourself and others, in this **Relational** **Mindfulness Practice** in the form of a conversation. We will practice **observing without judgement**, what’s happening in us and between us, in the moment, as we relate to each other. **Observing sensations, emotions and thoughts** so that we get a complete picture of what it’s like to be us. In this way, we learn to **lead ourselves** through **greater awareness** of the moment, and cultivate our own **inner knowing**. Se les otorgará personajes y situaciones más conflictivas, siempre enfocándonos a la mejora y superación del trabajo interpretativo del alumno. Se trabajará a fondo el análisis de personajes y textos de distintos géneros, para finalmente presentar las escenas. Se incidirá más en el trabajo individual y grupal para mejorar las capacidades actorales. Todo esto intercalado, con clases prácticas y de formación actoral, para poder ir aplicando lo aprendido en las escenas y profundizar en un trabajo más completo. El nivel inicial tiene una gran importancia en el camino del desarrollo teatral, ya que en este primer contacto con el teatro nos basamos en comprender el hecho teatral en sí. Para ello realizamos una formación actoral básica, basándonos en las técnicas y disciplinas básicas de las artes escénicas, así como en los conocimientos indispensables para cualquier actor. Trabajo de improvisación, voz, expresión corporal, paleta emotiva, escenas, creación y trabajo de personajes, creación propia, desbloqueos etc. Siempre trabajando de una manera lúdica, el alumno podrá investigar las distintas herramientas escénicas que se pueden dar en el espacio teatral, mejorar la expresividad, potenciar la creatividad, el trabajo en grupo, la autoestima, y mucho más. See if it’s true for you at noon on Sundays. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: 12:00 - quick intros. 12:10 - timer starts: write for 1 hour. 1:10 - chat / take off / keep writing. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 1-1:30ish. Writing is very solitary. The topic for March is "Our Bodies, Ourselves" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience.
