Last minute sign-offs will be banned 🟥 for future games if it happens more than once and no reason is given. The game is for all levels, genders 👦👨 and people wanting to have fun. It is Sunday again! So it is time for us to gather at Bastard Cafe playing games, enjoying a good drink, and having fun in the lovely atmosphere of the Cafe. Everybody is welcome, whether you are new to board games or you are an experienced player. We play everything from Codenames, Ticket to Ride, Carcassonne, The Resistance, Secret Hitler to more medium-long games like Terraforming Mars, Pandemic, Power Grid, 7 Wonders and Catan. You are welcome to come and play for a few hours or even stay longer if you feel like it! So girls and guys, come and join us for fun and games at Bastard Cafe! :D **FAQ** **Q**: *How can I find you?* **A**: Sometimes we got white flags saying 'Meetup' on the tables, and at other times we simply write the table number in the comment sections. But if you have any trouble finding us you are always welcome to write (chat or comment) and we will gently guide you to our table! :) **Q**: *What language do you speak?* **A**: Since our group is a mix of natives and internationals we primarily speak English. **Q**: *What games do you play?* **A**: All sorts of games! Social deduction games, strategy games, deckbuilding games, dice games, card games, dexterity games, you name it! If there is any game you want to play feel free to put a comment below, or bring it to the table to see if people are interested! **Q**: *For how long do you play?* **A**: As long as people want. We don't have a minimum or maximum time. The timer set from 1:30 pm to 8 pm are merely guiding times. Just be aware that people might have already started games if you show up a bit later. **Q**: *What is the average age in the group?* **A**: In general, we are a very mixed age-group but most people are probably in their 20's and 30's. Though by default, anyone no matter the age, gender, or otherwise, is welcome! **Q**: How does visiting the cafe work? **A**: A membership of the cafe cost 150 dkk a year and gives you access to all their games. Else you need a day ticket costing 30 dkk to play all games. There are also free games, but it is required you buy at least one drink from the bar to play them. Come join us for an afternoon run/jog/walk. We are not a typical running club, so please read about the concept in “about us”. How it works: we don’t know in advance where the trail will go, but we know it will be fun! A member of the club, the 'hare', sets a trail, usually marked with flour. The rest of us, the 'pack', follows the hare's 'scent', i.e., the marks. There will be a 8-10 km trail for runners with shortcuts down to 5-6 km for walkers and those who need a slower pace. We have no set pace - run/walk as slow or as fast as you'd like. After the run we enjoy some refreshments and socialize. All happens outside, so you need spare warm clothes for after the trail! Come a few minutes before the start so that you can say hi and leave your bag in a designated bag car before we set off at 14:30. Don’t worry if there are few registrations on Meetup. We have existed for 44 years, and a lot of our members (anywhere from 20 to 50 people) just show up. Four-legged friends are welcome! We never cancel. See you there!

Why are we unhappy? Where does emotional pain come from? Studies show that people who suffer from long-term emotional pain have painful experiences in their lives that were never fully resolved in their mind. In other words, there were issues in the past that were not completely dealt with. This can include abuse in childhood, breakups, divorce, death of a loved one, to name a few. How do you know whether you have gotten over something painful? Here is an easy test: Do you still have attention on what had happened to you? For instance, do you still find yourself thinking about something painful that you went through? If you are, then you are not over it. In fact, in severe cases, people find themselves playing a "tape" in their mind over and over again. So how do you heal from your past? How do you stop the "tape" playing in your mind?
