🍺 Agentic Coding Meetup — Devs & Drinks
🍺 Agentic Coding Meetup — Devs & Drinks
No slides. No speaker. No agenda. Just developers talking shop over a cold one. This is an informal gathering for engineers, founders, and builders who are deep in the agentic coding trenches — using tools like Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, OpenCode, or rolling their own agent pipelines. Come swap what's actually working, what blew up in production, and what you're excited about right now. We'll be at Barcelona, and the format is simple: show up, grab a drink, and share what you know. Bring a laptop if you want to show something, but it's not required. WhatsApp Group: https://chat.whatsapp.com/GVS0bHMPIzID3Ch9lt6YsU?mode=gi_t **What we talk about (but not limited to):** *Agentic coding workflows and tooling - Prompt engineering & context engineering in practice *Multi-agent architectures and orchestration - AI-native product building *What's broken in the ecosystem and how you're working around it **Who should come:** Developers, technical founders, and AI engineers who build with (or on top of) LLMs. All levels welcome — senior devs with war stories and curious beginners both make the conversation better. **Format:** Open conversation, round-table style. Everyone teaches, everyone learns.

Design Talk: Fast 60, Coherent 40: Design in the AI Era
Design Talk: Fast 60, Coherent 40: Design in the AI Era
AI has made it easier to move fast, but not easier to know what matters. As design teams adopt AI into their workflows, the challenge is no longer just output. It is coherence: knowing what to automate, how to measure value and how to lead people through a shift that is changing expectations in real time. On 27 May, Greg Kozakiewicz joins us for a practical talk on design’s next competitive advantage. The session will look at the “60/40” ratio in AI-driven design work, and what it means for designers, design leaders, and teams trying to stay strategically relevant while everything gets faster. We’ll explore: * Why speed is no longer enough * What the “60/40” ratio means for modern design teams * How to measure design value beyond taste and output * How business thinking increase design’s influence * Where design systems fit in the AI era How to manage teams, expectations and ambiguity right now This is not a portfolio talk. It’s a practical session for designers who want to understand where the work is heading, how to stay useful and how to turn design into a clearer business advantage. Thinking With AI: Creativity, Hype & the Future of Work
Thinking With AI: Creativity, Hype & the Future of Work
**Thinking With AI: Creativity, Hype & the Future of Work** La IA ya no es una tecnología “del futuro”. **¡No te lo pierdas, te esperamos!** 🎉 \*\*\* AI is no longer a technology of “the future.” It’s already changing how we work, learn, create… and even how we think. For this second edition of **Claude for Everyone Barcelona**, we’ll combine a talk with an interactive activity and an open community discussion about how we are using AI in our everyday lives. Following our “**For Everyone**” philosophy, this meetup is designed for mixed backgrounds — you don’t need to be highly technical to participate. All you need is curiosity and a willingness to share ideas, questions, experiences, and meet interesting people. We’d also like to give a huge thanks to our host for this event, 🙌 **Harbour.Space** 🙌, for providing the venue. **Agenda** ➡️ 18:00 - 18:15 — Check-in 🏢 18:15 - 18:30 — Host presentation 🎤 18:30 - 19:15 — *The Gesture, and How to Build Tools Today*, by Tomás Milgron (Spanish) 🎤 19:15 - 20:00 — *Attention is all you need*, collaborative discussion activity 🧃 20:00 - 21:00 — Networking \*\*\* 🎙️ **Talk** **The Gesture, and How to Build Tools Today** Designing and building with LLMs is profoundly changing the way we work. In this talk, we’ll explore the role humans play within the creative and technical process, how to build tools that remain useful in a constantly evolving environment, and what personal methodologies we can develop to work with greater clarity and intention. We’ll connect these three ideas - design, human-AI collaboration, and durable systems - to reflect on how to develop our own way of working in the age of artificial intelligence. *By Tomás Milgron, Senior Design Engineer at Taller Oliva.* ⚠️ **Capacity is limited.** If you can no longer attend, please cancel your spot in advance so someone else can join. \*\*\* **Don’t miss it, we’d love to see you there!** 🎉

**Important time note:** Please plan on arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 as the elevators lock after 6 and you'll need to message us and we'll need to come get you. The building address is 4450 Bridge Park The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400 You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge. **Abstract** Like it or not, AI agents are now capable of turning a quickly written paragraph of requirements into a pull request that is ready to be integrated into real-world production applications and it's now our responsibility to make sure AI doesn't go rogue and take down prod - or corrupt our data by misunderstanding the requirements or our existing schemas. In this session we'll explore strategies to protect our codebases through unit and integration testing, documentation, and code review along with additional ways of providing context and guard rails to our AI agents as they carry out the work we've assigned them to do. By the time we're done, you'll have a firm grasp of the problem and understand some helpful options for protecting your codebase from vibe coding mishaps getting YOLOed into prod. **YouTube Link** TBD
