**On Friday 5th June, we're hugely excited to be heading into the City of London for our latest Spy Hunt!** If you've never joined us for a themed "**[Chicken Rush](https://chickenru.sh/)**" event before, this event can best be described as a fun and awesome hybrid of a pub crawl, a scavenger hunt and a classic game of hide and seek. The main aim of the game is very simple: **find the spy, hiding in a top secret pub in London 🕵️** With the help of a circle around the spy's approximate location, that shrinks every 2 minutes - you’ll need to race in teams and go pub to pub to hunt the spy down. The first three teams to successfully find the spy earning a lion share of the points available. **But there's a couple of plot twists 🤫** If you enter a pub or bar that doesn't house the spy - at least two members of your team will have to buy a drink! And this is not just a simple race to find the spy as we've also prepared a series of spy-themed tasks and challenges that you can complete on the way, that can help you earn extra points. If you speak french or are learning french this is the place for you. We are hosting a language club to socialise, practice language and to build community. It is hosted in the boardgame cafe Otter Chaos, in Brixton.

We will follow a 5 mile walk showing the many different sides of London. Meet at Baker Street station inside Met Bar. And then take a leisurely walk through stunning Regents Park. There will be time to take in the rose garden, the beautiful plantings, statues, open air theatre, water features and the very secret garden. We will make our way right through the park and walk onto Camden Lock which will be in direct contrast to the tranquil Regents Park. We will have some free time for wandering around the market and having lunch by the canal side. We will meet back at the Amy Winehouse statue. Those who do not wish to have a look around the market can go to the Hawley Arms across the road (which was Amy's favourite pub) climbing to the roof terrace if you have the energy. We will then get onto the tow path and walk onto Kings Cross. This area has been recently regenerated and we can explore Granary Square (fountains to run through) Coal Drops yard, and the impressive gasometers now converted into apartments. The area features newly opened shops, the famous narrow boat bookshop and some interesting architecture in the Coal Drops. There are canalside pubs and cafes for a final refreshment break with views over this transformed quarter. Kings Cross Station is only 5 minutes' walk from here.
