Unser internationales Sprachcafé richtet sich an Alt- und Neu-Berliner\*innen, Reisende und Anwohner\*innen - alle sind willkommen! Bei heißem Tee und Kaffee und frischen Waffeln könnt ihr mit Menschen aus aller Welt ins Gespräch kommen. Um das Eis zu brechen, haben wir verschiedene Spieleinheiten vorbereitet - wie zum Beispiel ein Kennlern-Bingo, Impro-Theater-Übungen und ein kleines Berlin-Quiz. Selbstverständlich ist die Teilnahme an den Spielen freiwillig und ihr könnt euch gerne einfach gemütlich unterhalten. Wir möchten vor allem Sprachstudierende ermutigen teilzunehmen, und Berlin in diesem Rahmen aus verschiedenen Perspektiven kennenzulernen, persönliche Kontakte zu knüpfen und in das kulturelle Kiezleben der Stadt einzutauchen. Jeden Monat gibt es den thematischen Brettspielabend an dem wir vorwiegend etwas längere Kennerspiele zu einem bestimmten Thema spielen werden. Etwas Erfahrung mit Brettspielen solltet ihr deshalb schon mitbringen. Ein paar Spiele bringen wir immer mit, ihr seid aber gerne dazu eingeladen eure eigenen Lieblingsspiele mitzubringen. Falls ihr keine eigenen Spiele besitzt, gibt es mittlerweile in allen städtischen Bibliotheken eine gute Spieleauswahl. This is a **shuffle**/**cutting shapes** class for **beginner** and **intermediate** shufflers where we'll be learning a **choreo** and practise it to various speeds. **Beginner shufflers** will get the chance to learn some basic steps and practice them stress-free in a short choreo. **Intermediate shufflers** will learn to vary these basic steps with additional leg and arm movements, learn to combine them in new ways, keep practicing their foundations, and try to integrate the new combos into their freestyle. Unser Verein berlinCreators e.V. trifft sich jeden Freitag ab 18 Uhr im Makerspace. Wir haben Gruppen rund um Elektronik, 3D-Druck, Nähen, Programmieren, Retro Computer. **Bastel-Workshop für Eltern und Kinder** Zeit ist kostbar. Aufmerksamkeit auch. In diesem Workshop nehmen sich Eltern und Kinder bewusst Zeit füreinander – und drücken in einem selbst gestalteten Kunstwerk aus, was sie im anderen sehen. Eltern verwandeln ihr Kind in ein kreatives Werk. Kinder gestalten ein Kunstwerk von ihren Eltern. Mit Farben, Materialien und Anleitung entsteht etwas sehr Persönliches – ehrlich, individuell und überraschend. Am Ende werden die Kunstwerke als Geschenk überreicht. Ein besonderer Moment, der oft lange im Gedächtnis bleibt. Künstlerische Vorkenntnisse sind nicht erforderlich. Ein Workshop für Familien, die Kreativität nutzen möchten, um Beziehung neu zu erleben. Some friends of PyData are organising the following event, and we think it would be great to share it with the community. Pixels2GenAI is an exhibition by software developers creating computer art. We have used equations, algorithms, and AI models to generate images and installations. The artists explore the space between hand-programmed images, the aesthetics of mathematical rules, and AI as an art-making tool. Let me know if you’d like a free digital copy of the book) * This event will be at the main library, meeting room 1B, the location will not be changed for this event due to the number of people attending, we will just add more chairs if needed! * Feel free to come whether or not you’ve started or finished the book ◡̈ * Small snacks will be provided.
