**Endlich ist es so weit: Das erste Chocolate Date findet statt!** **Erlebe einen unvergesslichen Abend voller süßer Versuchungen und Begegnungen!** **Thema des Abends: Chocolate Date/ Tasting** An diesem besonderen Abend stellen wir dir 10 verschiedene Kostproben erlesenster Schokolade zu Verfügung. Da wir Wert auf aller höchste Qualität legen, stammen alle Kostproben von der Confiserie Eibensteiner. **Ablauf des Events** Nach einer herzlichen Begrüßung erhaltest du dein Matching Los und wirst einem der 10 Tische zugeteilt. Wenn alle da sind, gibt es eine kurze Einführung, dann geht es auch schon los und alle Paare haben jeweils 5 Minuten Zeit, um sich kennenzulernen. Genügend Gesprächsstoff zum Kennenlernen bieten unsere süßen Versuchungen in Form von verschiedensten Schokoladen Kostproben welche auf jeden Tisch bereit liegen. Wenn die Zeit um ist, kreuzt du in deinem Matching Los ,,Will Kennenlernen'' oder ,,Will nicht kennenlernen'' an. Nach jedem Durchgang wechseln die Teilnehmer den Tisch, sodass jeder die Chance hat, alle Teilnehmer kennenzulernen. Kleiner Tipp: Warte nicht zu lange mit dem Ankreuzen, da du später vielleicht nicht mehr weißt, wer es war. So this month's prompt is more general. I think we can all agree that we are living in "unique" times that require coping skills. I think that one role and/or purpose of philosophy is to help us deal with our daily lives and our "unique" times. So, let's share our feelings and thoughts about which philosopher/philosophy we turn to in order to deal with our crazy events. Who/what helps you stay focused in your daily life and helps you sleep at night. I find that Stoicism with a little philosophical pessimism mixed in goes a long way in helping me deal with what I see as very destructive, fearful and mean spirited public policies at both the state and federal levels. # **Band and caller TBA** Beginner lesson at 1:30, regular dancing begins at 2:00 pm NOTE THAT WE ARE TEMPORARILY DANCING IN THE AFTERNOON INSTEAD OF EVENING. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 1:30 - 2:00, followed by dancing 2:00 - 430. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner.
